Our contact in Guam posted this information today. I had asked for it and she really came thru. I currently have on hand fabric for: packers, university of Michigan, cowboys. I did have bears, but gave it to a friend. I'll see if I can get some back.
another member is in Ohio right now and I emailed her to see if she can get Buckeye and Bengal fabric. Lyn has the Steelers covered and a sailor's mom is getting U of Georgia..

SO, if any of you live in a state that I haven't named, and would like to mail me some fabric, I will make a pillowcase for them. And the sooner the better, as I have a craft fair at the end of the month I need to work on. I need anywhere from 1/4 to 1 yard. your choice. If you just get 1/4 yard, I will make a banded one.

This is exciting! I do have other football fabric and Lyn has some too, but if we can make it specific, that would be better. My son said "mom, anything personal is awesome, but I know that is hard to do." And here, Sarah drops that opportunity into our laps.

I live in Pa.. and will hit Joann's tomorrow. It may KILL me to purchase Steelers fabric! No Eagles Fans in Guam??? If you can keep this current before I go I will see what they have and let you know right away what I get...
LOL!!! Right there with you on having to buy anything Steelers!!! But I'm a Giants fan, so we're not crazy about the Eagles, either! Makes it hard when I live in the middle of PA.

I may have some Bills material. I have 2 sons that are Bills fans and I made small pillows a few years ago for them. I'm sure I have some around.

Also, what about fleece? Is this ok to make pillowcases out of? Please let me know, as they have some on sale in NFL teams.

thanks!
Hi Cathy, doesn't look like Eagles fans, but there are New England Patriots. Aren't they based in Philly?

I see there are 2 steelers fans, so will need 1/2 yard for 2 banded ones. Do you want to make those and mail? Or would be too painful? You could write a note. haha And thanks!
Sue, I live in Pittsburgh and if Cathy wants me to, I'll get the Steeler fabric. Its enough that we beat the Eagles and went to the Super Bowl. Asking her to buy the fabric would be rubbing it in. Did I mention we Won the Super Bowl.

Big Hello from Steeler nation.
BTW, the Patriots are out of Boston.
Careful, you don't want to get this Seahawks fan going!! :)
Oh, that's right we didn't get beat by the Steelers, we got beat by the guys in the striped uniforms! ;)
Lyn, you are too funny! Can you do 2 steeler ones? Years ago, I bought steeler fabric real cheap and made my son a "court jester" costume out of it. and shorts for all the grandsons. Who knew-I would've kept some.

Okay, Patriots from Boston.

Cathy, since Lyn won't find it painful to do the steelers, would you be willing to check Joanns for any of the other teams? I will email you a coupon for Joanns that is good to Saturday.

It would really be fun to get every team covered. You ladies are awesome!
Carolyn, fleece makes great pillowcases. That's how I got my start years ago. So let me know if you do have the Bills and whatever else you have.

Got an email from a Guam mom who is mailing the U of G fabric. I was thinking that if we could do every team, it would be fun to wrap them in tissue paper with their names on it.
Sue! Patriots are in Boston!

I will e-mail my Gainesville buddy and ask her if she can find a yard of Gator fabric. Maybe I'll even see if I can con her into making the pillowcase. I could make one out of a t-shirt that is from when they were champions but somehow using an old t-shirt doesn't seem right!
Sue,

I found a great on-line fabric site that has all sorts of football fabrics. They are expensive, so I suspect bands only! I have written my G-ville contact and copied the e-mail to you as well. She is a great sewer and if she has time, I know she will do a good job.
Sue, I'll take care of the two Steeler pillowcases.
And I wrote to her and asked her to find the Miami Dolphins too. She sounds like a really great lady!

I love our networking.
I will try to find some Seattle Seahawks fabric. I'll let you know.
