Happy Easter!

The groups in Haiti are rotating in and out too quickly.  We have tried to pick up a couple of units but have not had luck yet.  So Sue asked me to search for another unit to adopt.

There's a group of seabees in Afghanistan that would like to be adopted.  There are 80 males and five females.  The unit is from Mississippi and they will be there until August.

I know that several of your volunteered to make whimsical pillowcases and if you still have them set aside, I would love for you to volunteer to send them.  The turn around on sending them is fairly short since many of you have a stash sitting in your cupboard.  How about targeting tax day (April 15) for mailing?

Once I have the volunteers, I will send you the address via a private message.  If Sue doesn't have your e-mail address, please send it to her.  She has mine or you can make me a friend on N4M and I will send it to you there.  I have a list of goodies on their wish list.  If you have room, you might want to include a few of those.

I had 17 male and 13 female put back for Haiti...I can mail ASAP, just let me know what you need me to send! I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter
I sent some to the last group of my whimsical but I can replenish. I can send at least 12 and add goodies to that. Just let me know how many I need to send.
I have quite a few females set aside and 15 males that I can mail by the 15th. Those are the mickey mouse and other whimsical ones in my stash.
I still have my 12 whimsical ready to go if you need them. There are 1 female, 3 generic, and 8 male.
Looks like we have 55 male and the 5 female commited already. Dawn, why don't you take 4 female and Tamara you do 1.

does that work for you Dori? I have 2 boxes of female-hope we get some more of those soon!

I do need to make some a snoopy surfer dog and will check the stash to see what would be whimiscal. clarify what you have in mind for that Dori. do you think some shamrocks with lady bugs would qualify for that? Thanks.

And thanks for posting this group!
Sounds good Sue...I will mail when I get the address!
I still have my seven - mostly whimsical - 2 football related, one baseball, two patriotic, one Route 66 and one Spiderman. Should I send them to someone to have them mail off? Please email me at phenpharms at hotmail dot com. New addy :-) I'll get them out tomorrow.
My apologies-I am so used to coordinating who sends what, I forgot that Dori is in charge here. So let's wait to see who she wants to send what. I just thought since Dawn was the 1st to chime in with females, she could do it.

Hi Donna, we'll let Dori decide that, but usually we have people mail to the units direct. so hold on until Dori checks in.

april 15th is a good mailing target. I have 2 units that I am doing this week, with Cathy's help. I am finally getting a Tucson unit! Supposed to get the information today.
I also have a stash that I can send from Dori if you need me to. Just let me know how many you still need and I will send the rest.
Okay, Here's the list:

Dawn: 17 males and 4 female
Kim: 12 males
Lyn: 15 males
Tamara: 12 males and 1 female
Donna: 7 males
Matt's Mom: There are still 17 males left. How many of those would you like?

Sue: Whimsical is in the eye of the beholder. I put no restrictions on those.

I have e-mail addresses for:

Lyn, Tamara, Donna, Dawn and Kim

Matt's Mom, please make me a friend on N4M. Thanks. I'll get the address out this evening.
Dori I can send pillowcases to the 17 males that are left. I will send you a PM since we are already friends.
okay, I don't have to worry about snoopy surfer dog then. I've actually made 2 pcs out of that and sent them off.
