NitaSewBee, I have a 3 month old grandson.  Jazz is no longer in the picture, she moved on a long time ago.

Ben met a wonderful girl named Danielle, they are married and have my grandson!

Happy BELATED Memorial Day!  I do not know where the day flew by to.

Well, if I was honest, I would GRANDBABY!   haha.  Here is a favorite heart of mine, that I should have posted yesterday. It is called a reflecting heart and that's what Memorial Day is all about-reflection of those who have paid the ultimate price for our freedom:

Sue, you have a new grandbaby. That is so cool. Is this a  rainbow baby....one born after  losing  a child? Did Ben and Jazzy have another child. That would be awesome if  she did Since I haven't been on in awhile, I had no idea you  had another grandchild.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend.. Thinking of our Military past and present.

I am learning so much as I go along with this, they have me on metformin and it seems to help. I have to watch what I put in my mouth and that's a good thing.

Sue NO sugar in my iced coffee, I get a flavor instead that is not too sweet. been good and just not getting them. I will use them as a treat.

diabetes seems to be on the rise and I still think it is the result of all the preservatives put into our food supply.

speaking of food, my sweet 3 month old grandbaby just ate about 6 oz.  He is growing so fast!

ME, sorry to hear about the type 2 diabetes. I have had family members with that same problem. They all did well by substituting complex carbs for simple carbs (sugars, like white sugar and some fruit sugars). I does take a lot of label reading, but now there are a lot of very good medications you can take.

As always, thinking of you and sending good wishes.

I thought that was a pretty good chuckle haha.  Good for you!

do you put sugar in your iced coffee-why is that bad for you?

Oh Dana, you are so right.  But you know what, if your new DIL is open minded and willing to share, you can still have some special times together.

Sue, At 52 and having a total historectomy  there is NO WAY I'm pregnent hahaha. Thanks everyone, Im doing good my last sugar reading was 94 so Im staying in range.

I always do. I never know when a girl will take over that place of being the number one female in his life. I know it will end one day but take advantage of every minute I'm  given to be with them and not have to share. Fortunatly my soon to be daughter-in-law is wonderful and shares. I hope she will become somewhat like a daughter someday (she had a bad Mom so it is going slow but OK)

sounds wonderful Dana!  enjoy the drive and that special time.
