Ha, join the club! Glad to have you on board! happy sewing!
HI Sue! Ok, so I'm addicted to this now! I spent most of yesterday cutting fabric, I made two yesterday to send to my son in Groton (one for him, one for his roommate!) and just finished one. It only takes like 5 minutes to sew, as you probably know! I used the hot dog roll instructions-so easy!!!
I was also interviewed and it aired 3 times on the news last night. I couldn't find it online last night, but will look again today.
Well, I attended the 3rd Great Pillowcase Challenge today which was held at the Quilter's Market in Tucson!
I came home with 528 pillowcases! Beautiful work and it was a cooler way to spend a day that was 113 outside!
Thank you to Lynda Luiten and her staff for making this possible!
Sue-Pillowcase lady, I just sent you a pm and I looked at the Nimitz discussions-OMG those are so beautiful!!! I can't wait to get started! Looks like I'm going to Joanns tomorrow to poke around and make a practice one!
also, if you pm your personal email address, I can send you lots of information.
thanks!
just check out any of the "threads" aka discussions above. We post photos of the pcs in them.
Thank you Sue-Pillowcase lady! Is there somewhere on here where I can see what some of the pillowcases look like? I'm just curious before I jump in. Thanks!
Christina, I got it and responded! Thanks so much for the pcs!
Welcome to mrsb! We are happy to have you with us.
I got your email address Christina, thank you.
Dawn, thanks for telling me his department. Now I know who sent the pillowcases to that one. If he says what it looks like, I would like to know.
Getting many nice thank you notes from the Nimitz. I am behind posting them.
Saturday, a local quilting store is hosting another "Great Pillowcase challenge" for HAE. This is the 3rd one.
