Hurray - he is safe and he called.  So happy for you Donna.  hope the rest of your Christmas was heartwarming.  We heard from our sailor too.  He opened the present we sent him over the phone.  That way we are together and we can hear the enjoyment and surprize.  Regrettfully his present to us had not arrived yet.  Including the gift he had gottent the pet turtle - he finally found her a Japanese kimono that will fit her.  I'll get a picture of this and share.  But hearing his voice did the heart good:)

Had the other son and future daughter in law here for Christmas.  And it was a good day.  Simple meal and lots of laughs and a good nap.    Also, teh kids brought along the puzzle to do.  And we HAD to watch teh movie The Christms Story to be motivational to do the puzzle.  Well, 3 entire movie watching of that Christmas Story later adn we were done.  I am still seeing puzzle pieces.

Hubby is out right now braving teh crowds.  I purchased a shrit that said Large and it really meant Extra Large.  So he is exchanging it.  And naturally out of milk.

you  havea good week and wishing you  a Happy New Year

This should be the Fox Squirrel - he was thanking us for the nuts we placed out for him.  That is our front window too.

Hi Donna,

I finally found the right icon to use.  So I am placing some Winter snow pictures on for you.  Most are from past year, it just has been too and I mean TOO cold out to get some shots.  But honest - it looks the same.  Hope you enjoy the pictures.  The only thing is that for some reason - the pictures have a stretched look to them.
