Hi Donn,

I am trying to figure out how to add photos now.  I am not sure which of the icon tools I am suppose to use.  I like having to able to make larger print to see, but just not sure that all of this was needed.  But I am not into much journalling, so it is properlly nicer for those with the gift of gramar.

AS soon as I can figure whcich ones I can use fo add photos, I'll add some pictures of winter snow for you.

Even though the weather was real bad here last night and will be for the next two days - our sailor called :)  Alex called and shared GOOD news for over two hours.  He shared something speical:  at his ships Christmas Party he won  2 raffles. One for a gift card of $25  and the other a 72 hour Leave chit.  He plans on using that leave time when he goes on Spring Tour.  But then he said something else:  " Mom that $25 gift card came in handy, I have to get new uniforms - I got Capped." Naturally, I was thinking - what happened to one of your teeth? ! Now you need a cap and you are excited about it!  Wrong - during the partyThe CO called up two sailors ( one being Alex) and they both were promoted!  Alex is now an E5!  He was so pleased.  And then he shared - not entire new uniforms - just the ranks being sewn on.

Need to get - hope your weather is being kind to you.  Looking forward to you sharing some news too.  Have a good day.

Thank you Donna

She was so determine to tell Santa what she wanted, she never looked at the camera.

 That's a first - she is such a ham.

What's new?  All ready for Christmas?  Not here and I will try and get some real good pictures of snow!  WE are being hit by a blizzard.  WE have warnings NOT to got out tomorrow.  Sub zero weather.  Hope your weather is better.  Oh - my sailor is right now talking with his dad :) And he was so excited - he was Capped.  In other words promoted to E5.  Send more gossip later - my turn to talk to him  Have a good weekend

Pe Turlte - Shark went to see Santa Sunday morning. She asked him for her sailor to come home and a new train to run around the tree.

I will do that for you. But I am not going out tonight. Weather is to drop in single digit and windchill below zero. We are already breadking records. And I have a feeling it might be a more dry Windter. Going to read in the Farmers' Almanac to check on this Winter. I'll share what I find out. Are you ready for Christmas? WE are getting it almost all done. It is shopping for some gifts. Were able to get the package off to our sailor. Really wish I could just mail him home :) Havea good night and I will get you some snow pictures :)

HI
So glad you did have him home. Miss mine terribly. And know that feeling of wanting to send a package. Our son asked us to hold sending. Reason he might be at a different base for a class. Have not heard - so I am just going to his ready and send somthing. The pet turtle is getting her picture with Santa tomorrow, and he so enjoyes that. I think he is the only sailor with a Pin Up Turtle picture in his locker.

Hi Donna :)

Besides the great meal you prepared - did you collect your hugs?
I am so glad you had your sons with you. WE did get two phone calls and our sailor stated how excited he was. He was going on a bus tour to a Professional Sumo Wrestling event. He said he would get pictures and then send to me. So as soon as I get them - I'll post some.

My son also stated that no he will not be coming home for Christmas. This will be the 4th one in a row with out him. Yes, I am bummed . So this coming Saturday we take the pet turtle to get her picture with Santa. Then send a picture to Alex. He loves those.

I am still stuffed and I told myself I was going to be careful what I ate. I guess I carefully ate all I wanted.

Enjoy your time with your sons Havea good week at school too.
