How nice - tickets and a room. Hope they had fun too.
Yes - all those rules - I just cannot image trying to jump through them all and then teach.
I take my hat off to you.
But treats / candy regulations? I know I watch the news about how McDonalds has these law suits agains it for it's foods or is that the prizes? I give up - I just eat and enjoy.

Let me know - who you are dressing up as for this Halloween - Book Character. How about Ameila Arheart :) ? I know Betty Crocker and then you have to hand out sweet treats !!!!! Ok - I am going over board. Hope I gave you a laugh. Please do share who you are going to be. I know your students must love when you particiapte too. Havea good evening.

I am so sorry that celebrating holidays has become a problem. You must have a strength that is awesome. I do not think I could do your job. But teh book character day sounds so interesting. what a fun way to encourage reading.
really wish we had done something like this when i was a kid. Is there one character that is liked the most? Do the teachers dress up too? How about you?

Do you still get to have parties in the class rooms with treats? the reason i ask - there are so many rules that all the teachers have to jump through here, i just wonder if it is like that in other schools.

you have a good weekend

Fingers crossed that he comes home !!!
Glad school is going well. Question: Does your scholl still celebrate with a Halloween Party? The kids get to dress in costume and a class party? Just wondering - so many changes about these holidays. And how do you handle the religious holidays like Christmas and Easter? I get the feeling that you and your teachers have to walk on egg shells. Wishing a you a great weekend. Make sure you treat yourself speical - you are freind.

HI
Son called last night - nearly 4 hours of talking !!
He has a cold - so I think he called for some tender loving care over the phone. Wish I could have givenhim some oatmeal raisin cookies and hot apple cider too.
he shared he was going to sign up for some college classes from Maryland University. This will make his Aunt JoJo so happy . So he said I could let her know. And that if she sent him something from Maryland U - let it be a hooded sweatshirt - it is getting cold in Japan. Getting a package ready for him too. Some simple Halloween items and his birthday presents. And he stated he had completed a rate change package. Now comes the waiting to see if he is approved.. Let you know
Weather here is beatiful - 80's. Strange but nice. And teh leaves are brillant colors.
How is it for you all? Need to get along have a good evening. hugs.

You are so right about that. My son would actaull pace because he had to wait. AGain he is waiting for things to happen - college classes, change in rates, his test results, etc. But at least he does get to go on some sight seeing tours. And the wether in Japan is plesaent. Like today here :) It is so a perfect Autumn day. Hope you are getting to enjoy it. I have relatives arriving shortly from TN. So this will be a busy place. Wishing a good weekend
