Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Have not been on a cupld of days - been busy here.
Good Luck to your daughter in MN school and that she gets her pick of duties.
Wow - Donna. YOur programs sound like fun. I so enjoy programs like this. Seeing how school lessons RELATE to teh outside world - really helps kids to learn retain what they have learned. Please keep sharing I am all ears here. How is your sailor. Mine is happier. Ship is in dry dock which in now givin him a chance to take some college classes and a bit more sight seeing.

Kathy !!! Hi :)
What a good looking young man. Talk about proud - just look at his face and his body lanuage. So very proud. Now if my son saw this - he would say it was because he was finally off base and eating a good ole White Castle .

I hope Trina sees this message Kathy and will answer. She really knows. My son has beenin for two years as a MN, but honest I am not sure what he is doing eithor. Espeically when one of his shipmates sends a picture of him in his dress uniform coloring pcitures with some first graders in Inidan. I guess that was Navy Freindly Day.

And what do you do at a baseball game? Drink Beer. Note: All these photos were taken by Ricky Flores. A fellowshipmate of my son's. This youn man is the ship's photographer and is a natural talent at taken photos. I am so grateful for the pictures he shares.

Agree - Long Time . But Alex stated that is the wait. He really wants it too. He missed it last time by 2 ponts. So he studied. Have any special plans for Fun with your son? And do have a good day at school. Pl;ay nice with the teachers :)
