FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Sorry didn't mean to be impolite and spell out the entire name. But honestly - my eyes are blurry and I can't see that well tonight. Glad you had a time with him and collected many hugs. Keep sharing please on how things go.

Erin - I emember my sailor had training on GL for several weeks after basic - then to A School for a couple of months. But I havenot a clue on how to answer your questions about spouces coming to be with their husbands. I'll ask on anther site - maybe someone there wil have an answer. Take care

Gilda - wonderful pictures. And congrats on having a Shell Back now. Funny - I never it that they were WOGS first. Not until ALex called and said "I'm a Shell Back now". ALex had one concerned - how to get the camera away from Ricky while Ricky was going through the ceremony? Have to ask him what he did to get that camera. The pictures are wonderful. Hi JeriLynne. I agree - wow three of us.

My son is the USS Patriot. And if I am right - those two ships were in the Colden Cobra while at Thailand and took top honors in the routine ! Maybe our sons have met while on liberty . Jump in and share :) TLynn

Erin - I promise that will change :) Soon Navy Time will be normal, you just learn to plan A and Plan B and a Plan C. That's all - have a good evening.
