Hey skell....send me a message if you want any information on the military housing here....we just moved 2 months ago, and looked at EVERY housing complex we qualified for!!  If you aren't looking at military housing, try AHRN.com, they have some great listings....where is your husband going to be stationed at?  Pt Loma, North Island, or 32nd st??

I have a question. I am looking forward to moving in with my husband as soon as he gets stationed. Are the houses on the bases furnished? I am really curious as to what I should take when I leave my house... I wouldn't want to take unnecessary things. Thank you! :)

Sposes can only move with their sailor when A school is over 20 weeks
Comment by TropikalParadize on July 24, 2011 at 11:30am
So if they are in A-school UNDER a certain amount of time they will not move you to be with your husband, but I believe if A-school is OVER a certain amount of time (6 months or a year, can't remember), then I believe they will move a spouse to be with their Sailor.  Nuke school is super long, I believe they move spouses to be with their husbands for that one.

Housing allowance well you are married right? Ok well you have to not live on base to recieve it . And if he is in something like a school and you want to move by where he is they will make you pay out of pocket. That is all I know for right now. Through bootcamp I recieved BAH since my husband was gone also I believe I will be getting it while he is a school. I hope that helps a little sorry
