OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

My son use to love them and then I had them for his little brother and sister..he used to put them on as a joke....last year before he left he tried to put on his little brother's--now he is 6'3 or so and little brother is NOT! it was sooooo funny....I think it reminds them of being little!!!

Comment by mommajo on June 8, 2011 at 11:49pm: luvnsupport~I was surprised to see my son without BC glasses at PIR--he told me no contacts until after. Within 5 min he was putting in his contacts. He could see "well enough" for the marching :)

Sharon~Beautiful, tears, and smiles. Tell your daughter "Thank you."

Fighting with the city counsel; they want to eliminate 1/3 of our firefighters due to budget restraints. No other department takes that kind of hit. Of course, firefighters just sit around waiting for a fire. I suppose they think military just sits around waiting for conflict?? Uuug; politics.

I used to get him the XL in the women's department until he got too tall for those. At 6'4" even XL are too short. You must share and then your son can have a twin!
