MomofJoseph - I am not sure we actually knew until the day or so before his graduation. Pizanche's information should be more up to date than mine.
NucMomTami & G'sNavyMom - Welcome to the Nuke Mom group. I am not sure if I have given you a proper welcome here! Please don't hesitate to ask questions here either. There is a lot of information in the pages in the upper right - be sure to click view all - and here is my discussion on A school that I wrote in collaboration with my sailor. It is older information now, so, I encourage others to add to the replies at the end if anything needs to be updated.
Nuke A school daily schedule - sailor's perspective - Navy For Moms...
Thank you for the info. I'm sorry for the slow reply - drove my Mom to the beach for the weekend and this was my first time to login.
I do have the copy of 2206 that B'sNukeMom posted, but thank you to Chipmunk for looking for it for me! In that one they graduated in 3 groups and I was hoping to know which time slot he would be in. (But we rented a hotel room 0.8miles from Patriots Point, so we don't have to worry about traffic in the morning.)
MomofJoesph - My son was in 2205 - there were 3 graduations. they used to give a schedule of which boat was what time. if you google NPTU grad and your sailor's SSN number you should be able to find the time.
NucMomTami my son flew out Saturday morning very early. The airport did give us gate passes to sit with him until he boarded. His was one of the last PIR classes to fly out commercially because of Covid. They started bussing or other means to get the Sailors where they needed to go. Remember with the Navy things can change on a dime. I learnt very early when my heart was crushed either I learn to go with the flow or spend six years of misery. I hope things work out great for you but please stay flexible.
MomofJoseph - Here is a link to the 2205 Graduation -
NPTU Class 2205 MTS 711 Graduation - YouTube
I also found one for Class 2206. There was a note under the video saying it was the 2nd one of the day, so I am assuming they are still doing two ceremonies per class.
From what I recall, there really was no schedule in 2019, just two different times for graduations. One was at 0900 the other was at 1100 and I think we had to be there a half hour early. My son tried hard to get me as much information as possible as you can tell from my discussion post and it was very slim pickings of what he actually got.
MomofJoseph - see if you can glean some information from the Prototype FB group? -
Also here are links to a few discussions on this group page. Read through them for clues. I am sorry.

Do you by chance save any of your email feeds from the groups here. If so, you might be able to do a search in your email from B'sNukeMom. - It most likely would have been an attachment and I try to delete my attachments as much as possible, so I am not finding it. The other thing is to go to the bottom of the page here and skip through the comments until you find ones around July.
Good Morning / Afternoon everyone -
My apologies, I have been dealing with a lot of family things, and I believe that B'sNukemom is also out of the loop for a bit with the same.
NucMomTami and G'sNavyMom - Generally your sailor should have their orders right before PIR, but that is not always the case. As for flight times, that varies depending on what flights the Navy procures for the best rates. - Welcome to Navy life, you really will not know possibly until you are at PIR, or even afterwards. That is why with those flying in and out, we recommend that if possible, you give yourself an extra day for travel. We drove, just because we wanted that flexibility, and it was nothing like I thought it would be. - Be sure to read my discussion on the BC group - What PIR weekend may be like for those flying out of GL - Navy For ...
B'sNukeMoM⚓️MMN(Vet) - Good morning! I have a question for you. In July, you posted the schedule for Prototype graduation 2206. Can you direct me to where you found that info? My son is graduating next week and he still hasn't sent us the schedule, and I haven't been able to find it online. I appreciate any help you can give.
NucMomTami - my son graduated the day before Thanksgiving. They were given Thanksgiving day with Families and some of his friends flew out on Friday and Saturday. But all of the Nukes flew out on Tuesday of the following week.. (We had driven to BC, so we were able to stay until Sunday to visit with him.)
