Hi everyone!

BigMama, my Sailor says he might know his ship assignment within the next couple of weeks! Can't wait!

CalSailorMom, so glad to hear they made it safely cross country, and all is well. :)

Dor, that is good news!  It will be so nice when Jason get's home and you are so close.

Zach's mom - I feel your pain, having been through it myself.  The good news is that it probably will never happen again.  I hope your recovery is swift.

On my side of the world....still no call from 12/306...we had heard they'd be able to call yesterday, but I guess it wasn't meant to be.  Hopefully soon.  I wish I hadn't stressed myself into a migraine waiting....

this is our youngest grandson, Jack.  He is 9 months and when I was watching him on Monday, he crawled over to the tool bench and pulled himself up to play.

Connie, yes, that's my Minnie - she's a parti yorkie.  it's a recessive gene coloring of the yorkie - not recognized by the AKC, but she is purebred.  She's on our bedspread.  She was a puppy mill mama that I adopted from the humane society last October.  here's a better picture of her now along with my crazy Chewbacca (who's sleeping on his back) - he's a big yorkie - 16 lbs.  Minnie is 7 lbs.

No way 10 minutes before. We were also there with our Sailor at 7:00am.
And yes, I was the Mom camped right up front for pictures!!!

mn linda, I've just gotta ask... is that a DOG in your N4Ms photo? Craziest-looking canine I've ever seen!!! (but in a cute way...)

Son  just  found  out  he  has  to  be  out   of  the  dorm Sept 21st as  will  be  joining  class 1204 for  Prototype. His  friends  are  going  to  NY. Anyone  know  he  should  go  about   finding  housing   and  a  roommate? Thanks.

Comment by NancyJo (NNPTC) on August 17, 2012 at 5:10pm

I second....10 minutes is WAY underestimating.  People arrive early so I don't know how soon folks got there for the front row.  I think we showed between 7:30 and 8:00 and were midway up. Better two people than none. Prices are crazy! Love the "missed holiday" thing, tho.  I think Dor did that too, or am I wrong?
