BRAVO ZULU Navy Seals!!!  Love the high-five, Savanna!  Do any of you watch "How I Met Your Mother"???  Barny does the "phone-five"  (high-five over the phone).  We will have to now coin the phrase Comp-Five........what do ya think???  lol  WOO HOO

Mary -- Reality television in 3d -- lmao -- BUT, it would probably rival the most high tech action movie!  See the table being flipped at you now.......lol

I would've freaked if some kid stole my itouch!  Most I've had a kid steal was actual cash....(about $8 worth of quarters -- we had an old fashioned soda machine for the kids' rec. room, but didn't want anyone to actually pay to have it, so we had a box of quarters on the top of the machine.....)

Sharon -- am going to check your page now!  How AWESOME to be able to do what you love!!!  I am currently out of work (on workers' comp) with a back injury.  It's been a fight every step of the way and is making me insane!  I wanted to get a better paying job around now because my youngest is graduating h.s. My current job keeps me on the school schedule -- timing and days off....but my whole life is on HOLD!  This may be too much info., but...(here I go anyway) I got divorced a little over 3 years ago -- it took me a LONG time to come to that decision....then I was sick with a pertussis like sickness for 2 years (cycle in and out of vomiting 5 to 6 times a day and NO there was NO weight loss benefit!) I got better for about 3 to 4 months...lost 17 pounds....and fell on my A$$ on black ice at work -- that was 12/09.  I was back at work some (which I shouldn't have done), kept having recurring "episodes" and the last "episode" was in September '10 and I haven't worked since October....it's extremely frustrating and depressing!  I FINALLY had one of the MRIs (I need one for my neck, also) which SHOWS the problem (disc that is "blown out to the right"), and now I get to wait to start treatment.....meanwhile life is just ticking away (this might have something to do with my birthday this week! -- feeling it a bit more)

Ugh, anyway, I'm normally a very upbeat and optimistic person!  LMAO, but really!

HOOYAH!!  Go Navy!  My son sent a text last night; he had come from doing laundry and said security was going crazy.  We were headed to bed so had no clue what was going on.

I just read that it was Navy Seals Team 6 who got him -- special ops anti-terrorism unit.

April, your pretzels look yummy!!

I make chocolates and have for many years, self taught Chocolatier. We opened a retail chocolate shoppe, Chocolate Inked Sweet Shoppe (CISS) in Ocotber 2008 and closed it December 2009. It was a great experience and smile on all that we did. I hand made all the chocolates and we carried a local diary farm's ice cream which I really miss alot! I have a fanpage on facebook for my chocolates. I have changed the name and started again for Easter. I also made my first batch of "Cake Pops" which are a big craze right now. Took them to church fellowship yesterday and they were gone in no time! If you want to see my some of my chocolates, go to Sym's Chocolates on FB. We sent Diego and Kelsey a box filled with many different chocolates and they were able to share with some friends. I had orders for Easter which made it really sweet. I am starting small and loving that I am back doing what I love!

RE:  care packages - there is a group on here - care package ideas.  Lots of good ideas - many "theme" based packages.  I have also used bakeawish.com twice to send my nuke EM birthday cakes.  There is a small cake - like 4 servings - several different varieties.  I have also used Popcornfactory.com.  A little expensive, but OK for a special occasion.  A subway card is always nice to include occasionally.  Something I read a couple years ago (before I knew my son was going to be on a sub and not be able to get care packages) and that I always wanted to do was to send an "oreo" package.  A mom sent her son every type oreo cookie she could find in a care package.  Someday I am going to do this. If your sailor is just arriving at GC, send a microwave cup/mug and some easy mac, soup, coffee, etc along with some snacks.

first -- WOOHOO Bin Laden is DEAD!!!  Second --@Elizabeth LMAO -- I never saw the friendly alien in those pretzels, now I can think of nothing else!  Was so excited when I remembered I took a picture of them at Christmas!  :)  They really are SO EASY, and people will rave -- kind of like that old rice krispie treat commercial...remember?  lol

@Emily -- Congrats on the "new" old t.v.!  I'm with you -- let them perfect the idea and let the price come down.  Of course, I didn't do that when the ipod touch came out -- had to have it!  But normally, I'm a practical shopper...:) I KNOW my oldest (navy nuke) son did NOT inherit that gene!!!  ugh

Incredible news about Osama ... a lot of people from my area were killed in the Twin Towers on 9-11, there's a memorial in Yardley, PA, near me, if it's true that Navy Seals did the actual killing of this monster, that makes the celebration a little sweeter. The world can sleep a little better tonight.

Initial news report was that it was by bomb or missile, but the President said in his statement that a military force was sent into a compound to get him & retrieved the body. Probably US Army Rangers and Delta Force team.
