Michimom - Yeah on seeing your sailor in two weeks.  you will love Charleston.  So pretty and so many things to see.  I highly recommend a ghost tour and a historic carriage ride, if you can.  You learn a lot about the architecture and history in all of those things.  Going to the Battery/dungion is fun too and the tour is quite interesting.  Of course Fort Sumter is really great too.  And the Plantations, amazing.

Have fun.

haha Mary.  I live in Phoenix.   It's supposed to be about 100 degrees today. Those malamutes might not like the heat much.

I am working on my travel plans to GC at the end of June, and wondering if any of you TN moms can recommend something for my girls and I to see in Knoxville. I'm thinking historical/educational over shopping/entertainment.

Can't believe how far I had to go back to catch up, and I haven't even been away that long.  Sooo funny.  Now I have to try making cake balls for some get-together!

We are very unhappy here in Hockeytown. Hockey season 2010-2011 is now officially over. The Wings did a bang-up job, though. Can't say the same about the refs. Do not know why they just do not like us.

Your discussion reminded me that my mom told me that she and my father had their first big fight after they got married while they were wallpapering.  Made me vow never to wallpaper with my hubby (although the only wallpapering I ever did was only a border--and my sister helped me instead of him.  LOL).

Happy Friday the 13th!  We see our sailor in two weeks!  Woo hoo!  And we get to see Charleston for the first time.

Wow... I didn't even notice it was Friday the 13th until you said something, Sharon!!

Wow, I had to go back 7 pages to update!!! You are all so funny!!!!

YES, I have been doing "Cake Pops" lately! I have taken them to church fellowship to see how they would go over and they have gone over BIG time!!! I have made them for orders too. I have a order for next week, a "Bridal" bouquet of sorts. A friend is going to give it to a friend of hers, who is getting married in July. I will be placing it in a flower pot, making round "flowers" and also will include lil' "cupcakes" as I have a mold for them and I will also do a "bride" and "groom." I have quite a few resources, one being Bakerella.com and CakeCentral.com as well as many other "Cake Pop" makers! I have a couple of pictures of mine on Sym's Chocolates that is located on Facebook. I always have my tempering machines on, so my chocolates are always ready to go. Makes it a bit easier when I also make chocolates, though with the warm weather and this ole farm house they don't go together. Heck, I can't even bake in the warmer temps, the humidity is too high in this house. Well.........I am off to finish the 250 "Africa" shaped cookies that I am making, baking and decorating for a girl in our church who is doing a fundraiser this Sunday to raise money to help her go to "Africa" on a "Missions" trip. They will have the colors of the flag on each one, talk about time consuming.........they are!!  I have cookies all over the place!!! I have a company that hand makes cookies cutters, they can do just about anything!

Happy Friday the 13th everyone!!!!! Enjoy the "Cake Pops!" lol
