Britefuture...love the pic you shared.  BZ to your Sailor and so glad you made it there and back safely.  Too funny about the shorts.  I have a feeling my Sailor will also be like that if and when he makes it to BS.  He is a shorts kinda guy too.  LOL

CO-twin...congrats to your son finding out where he will go after Prototype.  WOW!  Hawaii!  EXCITING!

My son is taking his comps for ET A-school today.  I am DYING to hear from him.  He was teasing me the other day because I posted how I was glad that he was 3 hours ahead of me and that I wouldn't have to wait as long to find out how he did.  So he said that he would sit on his results until the evening to drive me crazy.  Well...one of his best friends who is an EM, just took his comps today and he already told his Mom that he passed his test. So...now I am going insane waiting to hear from my son. Little stinker!  Talk about making it impossible for a Mom to get anything accomplished because she is thinking about her son all day!

Happy Monday!

Britefuture - wonderful pictures - thanks for sharing.  Love your outfit btw ;-)  I'm sure your sailor was so happy to have his momma there!  Funny about the shorts - you all know my hubby wears his shorts everywhere too LOL!  I'm glad you made it there & home safe & sound.  Now to wait for those orders.....

What's the latest on graduation date for Class 1404 in BS?

Great pics, britefuture. Love the shorts. Are we related? Rain, snow or shine my husband plays golf in shorts.

Bright future so glad you made it this time. He has curls, how cute.

Is anyone going to 3-27 graduation? can you snap a pic of my son? "the big tall dude who is always happy" He has glasses.

Comment by britefuture on March 8, 2015 at 10:55am

Yes he's wearing shorts. Who does that remind us of??????? When we arrived in BS it was -2. That doesn't include the wind chill. And my nutty kid was wearing shorts.

Good morning N4M family. Made it home late last night. It was a quick but good trip. Just wish that I could have spent more time up there or that he could have come home. However, such is the Navy life that he has chosen. Spent the day, yesterday, hanging out with my son and his room mate. It seems they have become close friends and are hoping to get the same orders. My sister and I took them out for brunch and haven't laughed that hard in a very long time.

Came home to my youngest sleeping on my pillow. When I climbed in next to him, he woke up and said, "Mommy your back". Then he nuzzled under my chin, wrapped his arms around my neck and fell back to sleep. A great ending to a fabulous trip.
