CoTwin - Although it would be somewhat disappointing if my son didn't get his wish for BS, it wouldn't be too bad.  Charleston is a nice place to visit!

He also has a little sporty car but he loves driving it even in the snow.  He has had it since he was 16!

MelissaL...With my son there were some grad and go sailors. My son was hoping to stay in GC as he likes it there and grew up in Colorado with cold and snow and did not want to go to snow. He also bought a really sweet little white sports car he would have had to sell and get something different. a few weeks after power school grad they posted that ALL EM's would be going to BS and he was so disappointed. Then the next day it was posted that was an error and he would be staying put in GC. He was greatly relieved. He also is closer to his twin in GC, twin in Norfolk.

Co Twin - Good luck to your son in Prototype. I'm sure he will do great.

Hi CoTwin - thank you!  My son put in the request for BS but he said they probably won't know for about a month where they will end up. There were some EM's or ET's that were grad & go and were already sent to BS but he is an MM and I guess they still figure out where they are all going yet.  BS would be great as that is less than a 3 hour drive home to NJ where we live :)

Bethr... So glad for your son.... passing prototype, a little nervous for mine who starts on Monday. He tends to overachieve when he feels challenged.

Will be waiting for a post as to where your son gets stationed. This will be an exciting new phase for you both.

The Virus I was referring to was the respiratory one that is attacking children and the final stage is Paralysis. They say it is a lot like polio.

Melissa, congrates to your son on his passing PS. Is he to stay at GC or go to BS? Glad you had a great visit. My son said they really want our sailors to pass and will help that happen if they can.

Craig, thanks so much for the link, and all your work designing and producing this item. Santa is going to be delivering these.

And in other news, my son passed his prototype board at 6:30 this morning! It started at 4:30! He really struggled in prototype and it lasted 10 months, but he made it!

Have been following everyone's progress with great interest -- congrats to all and warm thoughts to those who have been especially challenged recently.

CO-TwinSalorsMom -- I love color! -- A couple of suggestions for your pink bathroom--accents of lime and white (kind of a preppy look!) or if it's really a hot pink, try hot colors with it -- red, orange, and purple!  Sounds like you are going to have a lot of fun fixing up your new place to suit YOU!  Enjoy!

Our son has just started power school.  Everyone wants to know where he'll be in a year or two, but we're just focusing on one step at a time.  That's about all my brain can handle!

Hope everyone enjoys some pleasant fall weather.
