The candle holder can be found at www.PIRGifts.com which will bring you to EBay. Or the best way is to use this link, that way you go right to it... http://www.ebay.com/itm/U-S-Navy-Dress-Blues-Sailor-Candle-To-honor...

Hi everyone,

Have not been on here for a while.  Trying to catch up!

CoTwin- Best wishes for the new house. I hope all goes well and you are happy there :)

Tina - Congrats to your son and good luck to him!

BsNuke - Hope all is going well with your Marti Girl <3

SlezaksMom - BZ to your sailor!!

Craig - Thanks for sharing the blue candle story.  I love the Sailor candle you created!  Will you be selling them?  I would love to get one!

As some of you may know from the Facebook Nuke Mom group my son passed Power School!  He initially failed the comp by a few points but did pass the retest!  It was a rough week.  We had our vacation all set to be there for the graduation so we still went and attended the ceremony which was great, just sad for us that our Sailor had to sit in the audience and not have the proud moment of receiving his certificate that day.  We enjoyed every minute he was able to spend with us working around his 60+ hours of mandatory study hours. My daughter was able to fly down from college in NY and be there too.  We got to see & do a lot in the area and really enjoyed the visit!

Congrats to all who achieved milestones in the last few weeks!  Hope all is well with all of you :)

Wow Brirefuture you have a lot going on, will keep you in my prayers. That is sad about the drop outs and it upsetting your son. He sounds like he has a good head on his shoulders..

Hope the little guy gets better and does not have this horrid illness that has spread like wildfire.

Best wishes on the New Grandbaby.

I go next week to see the house I bought for the first time!! bought it only seeing photos!! could be an adventure hu? I know that pink bathroom will be a challenge. the only stressor is the house here not selling. Gonna leave it in my Ex's hands and he is neat but does not clean. Pray it sells soon.

I have not read that series but let me know if you like it.

I just read on internet news that a threat has gone out and our military is being warned that ISIS has threatened to glean family addresses of service members to target them via social media.

Hi britefure, that's funny how you mentioned the Fitfy Shades trilogy. I started the 1st book but then couldn't finish it. My other sailor's name is Anastasia Rose and my name is Carla just like the characters mothers name in the book. Totally ruined it for me!
Comment by CO-TwinSalorsMom on October 4, 2014 at 10:11am
Oh no, Craig now you are going to have us all wanting one. They are really nice, I like that you can use them to warm scents in also, neat.
