Heather, those eyes!  What a cutie!

Dor, I've been thinking of you and your boys.  Glad to know things have been getting better, and saying prayers that they will continue to get better yet.

MN Mom, I guessed the 19th.  Not sure if Michiana mom did as well.  I will message you!  I am excited to be a winner; guess I ought to buy a lottery ticket now.  :)

If I'm not back here before the holiday, wishing you all a great Thanksgiving!

I see 1900.  According to my list we have 2 winners   Michiana mom and Navy Mom LG.  Ladies, message me with your addresses,  and if someone else was on the 18 and I missed it let me know.

Connie, Thanks for the info and invite,  I know sailor son wants to get an early start on the 30 and be home by the 3rd, but I would love to at least stop and meet you,  will PM you with further info.

Dor, You and Jason and wife, and all your family are in my prayers.  God is able to heal any thing and everything we are attacked with.  I thank Him for working mightily in Jason's life.

Heather, what a precious little boy,  he'll grow up and have all the girls swooning with those blue eyes.

Today is my sailor's birthday.  First birthday that I don't get to cook his birthday meal.  Oh well, I choose one for myself.  Instead of birthday cake, we'll have some pie.

Dor, my prayers are with you.  I can honestly say that life really sucks sometime, but the sun will come out again.

MNmom, safe travels to you when you go.

Heather, what a cutie! Congrats on your husband passing his boards and good luck at your new home!

Hi! Here's my monthly update:

We are moving in 2 weeks! (AHHH!!!!) and I still haven't packed anything... I might need to do that soon. We have our orders... Kings Bay, Ga! :) Which we are very happy about because we'll be a few hours away from our hometown.

Sailor passed his board last night! He failed his first one and worked his butt off to pass this one. It was a long few weeks with him working 14-16 hour days with no breaks in between, except to come home to sleep for a few hours.

Nick is doing wonderful. He's 11 months old and so close to walking. :) Can't believe he'll be a year in a month!

MN Mom, 2 suggestions for the motorcycle ... choose a motel with 1st floor and park directly in front of your room; put an alarm on the chain used to keep the bike upright in the truck ... oh, and hubby suggests parking in front of the motel office, under the lights, if someone's on duty all night. Also if you decide to go thru PA on way to Ohio .. consider taking the low route, the PA Turnpike (instead of I-80 thru Poconos from NY) .. you could hit historic Philadelphia and then Valley Forge. And if you get a late start leaving NY, we are 4 hrs from BS in Bucks County, PA, and we'd love to have you sleep overnight at our horse farm, the PA Turnpike is 40 min from us and it's about 7 1/2 hrs to the Ohio line.

GodBlessAmerica, thanks for the info.  If possible I would like to stop and see a friend in New Knoxville OH and possibly my niece in Chicago.  The thing now on my mind is how concerned should you be when you have a motorcycle and belongings in the back of your pickup when you stay overnight on the road.   You can tell I have never moved cross country before.  Suggestions and guidance welcome.

MN Mom, we drove on I-76 for most of the way.  Nice drive.
