Emily I know exactly what you mean.... I coach little kids in swimming and the hugs I get everyday are the best thing ever!! (P.S. - I made funfetti cupcakes today!! :) )

Sounds like a perfect wedding, Jeanne! I'm so glad everything went well. :)

I've been volunteering in a kindergarten classroom at my school since the beginning of March. I just go in and help here and there with whatever the teacher needs. Today was the last day, and nothing beats those hugs I got from the kids. :) Maybe it had something to do with those funfetti cookies I made for them today. ;)

Jeanne~got tears just reading about your wedding party!  They grow up so fast!  I'm glad all went well for you and your daughter is happy.  Hope they have safe travels.

All the rain is melting all the snow and flooding is occuring but nothing like I've seen in the midwest.  We have become the end of the road -- I 90 is closed at the Montana boarder.  Amazing how many people have already started summer vacations and college students stranded with no money (do college students ever have money?)

Prayers for all traveling or struck with tornados.

Penny, glad you had time with your Sailor and thanks! The Pops are so much fun to make and you know they are even better to eat! I will be doing something different next week for a teacher. I will "attempt" to make the "apples" for an arrangement.

Welcome back Casey, good to *see* you and congrats to your husband!!

Here's another click 'n' benefit link:  tasteofhome.com/flagcake      for every view of this recipe, Taste of Home magazine will donate 10 cents, up to $100,000, to USO. Link is only good thru July 4, so please repost on your other N4M groups. Looks like a pretty good cake (of course, I think EVERY recipe for cake looks pretty good!).

my3sons~yay, it's good to be needed and to be able to respond!  Enjoy your time.  Is your son EM or ET?  Seems like those are the first needed right now.

Casey~wow, seems like you've been gone a long time.  My son was just starting and I loved learning from you.  Glad things have turned out well.  Enjoy your mom.

Good night, ladies.

Hi Hapsmolmr,

My son is in Battle Stations tonight and is graduating Thursday.  When is your son graduating?  He is going to be an EM and will be heading for S.C. on Friday.

Thanks for all the info on room mates and phones.  I appreciate you taking time to share your wisdom/knowledge.  Battlestations tomorrow night for my SR.  Praying hard.

Hi Casey, so glad to see you back.  I've chatted off and on with you for a long time, it seems like.  I got my early info from you!  Wow, Ryan is finished with Proto.  Nathan is in his 3rd wk now.  Time keeps marching(or should I say sailing) on!
