This is the final test for your SRs. It is an overnight 12 hr drill that tests them on all they have learned and may encounter when deployed on a ship. It takes place on the Disney-created USS…Continue

Anybody have a daughter in division 182? I was hearing from her regularly but haven't heard anything since Mother's Day. Silence is so hard! She mentioned in her call that there were lots of people…Continue

Sonia-I don't understand. How did you offend? I wasn't offended at all!
I was going to keep writing (and still might!) but wondered what would happen to the letters if they get there after PIR. So, I just have to decide if I can live with the unknown in this case! IOW can I "live with" them possibly not making it to him?!
And I am REALLY glad you got a letter! I got my Questionnaire back yesterday(that makes a total of 2 whole letters! He's not a writer! Just for that he'll get his brain picked when I see him! ) and will be leaving for PIR on the 24th so I am not anticipating getting any more before I see him :-(. BUT, I don't care as long as I get an "I'm a Sailor" call tomorrow!
Well...this is conflicting!
The Family Guide on the RTC Website says:
"All guests, including children, must show valid identification (photo ID, Social Security card, or birth certificate). Children age 12 and younger do NOT need to be on the access list and will not count toward the maximum number of guests."
My Form letter states:
"All visitors age 13 and over must have valid, government-issued photo identification (driver's license, passport, etc.). Children 12 and under must have a copy of their birth certificate or Social Security card."
to diannep / fireteamleaderwife sorry i wasn't try to offend anyone .. i was passing information that had been given to me ... this will be my last comment ....thank you all
fireteamleaderwife: Thank you so much for the sweet comment you made on the other PIR group! I'm thinking....you will make an excellent "veteran" yourself and so please feel free to jump onto the PIR groups to help all of the newbies once your sailor has moved on!. As much as you all think we veterans are helping you--it is actually so very rewarding to US to be able to help!
hi everyone i finally got a letter from my SR .. he is well .. happy ... and ready for battle station i wish the all the best 02/928.....cant wait to see him... it does seem that the letters are a little late but i'm sure their is a reason i'm just glad i got one ... it's a good day...
diannep-Thank You on the heads up about when to stop writing! I was going to send another today! Sent one yeterday.
And whoa...17 days?! They get mail faster in the AE! 1 week! LOL
