Just found this somewhere on N4M and I thought it was cute ;-)

This is how the military works as related to me by a Navy Sailor:
First you got the Air Force that flies in and bombs the hill.
Next are the Marines who charge the hill and kill anything that moves.
After that the Army comes in puts up the flag and stands there like they've done something special.
All the while, the Navy sits back and rules the world.

Virginia:  Maybe if he told you where they are from you could click on the pictures up and to the right.  You can see what city and state they're from (if they put it on their profile).  Then I would send them a private email message.  You may have to "friend" them first before you can send an email.  That would be the safest way to do it I would think.

According to the RTC FB page under discussions it stated this in regards to the holiday weekend gradutions.....

U.S. Navy Recruit Training Command I believe that post was in reference to those graduating Thursday, May 26 instead of Friday because of the Memorial Day weekend. Those recruits going out of state for A School will fly out on Friday, the day after their graduation.

Recruits who graduate on a Friday will fly out of state on Saturday. If they stay in Great Lakes for A School, they will check in on Friday across the street on the main base.

It's confusing, we know.

So... my husband included names of bunkmates and such in his list to run by ya'll here.  What's the protocol for doing that on this site?  I didn't think I should just post them in public.
Comment by diannep on April 27, 2011 at 4:51pm
We understand that since you all are PIRing on Thurs, they will fly the sailors out on Fri or Sat.  But doublecheck on RTC FB.  Which day they leave will depend on their A School/job.  Only your SR will know exactly when he/she leaves.
