Battlestations happens in their last week of training, I think.  I have it written down in my calendar as happening sometime after 5/22 or 5/23.

I'm not sure at what point they find out about Battle Stations but if anyone finds out when it is in the next few weeks please post it, especially if it mentions anything about div 928.  I'm sure my SR won't let me know in time and depending on when it is, I might be leaving the day I get the call that he passed!  Really would like to get that call FIRST!

Today is 3-2.

I just checked my stack o'letters... On 18 April, husband said he was on a 2-2 day... so by now they might be on 3-2 or 3-3 day.

I was a week ahead in their training in my notes because I didn't realize that processing days would take longer than their first week there.

Hope that helps!

Is this week 4 for our SRs?  Weapons training and graduation photos?  I had found some information on what your Grads can do after PIR as far as hugging, kissing and hand holding.  It also gave information about their Toppers and use of cell phones and such, but I cannot find it again.  Does anyone know where I can find this?     We can hold their left arm and not their right so they can salute when neccessary.  Help, I need to review it.

joankf:  I am sorry that you missed her first call and only got to talk a few seconds.  Maybe she sounded down and discouraged because she wanted to talk to you but only got a few seconds?  As diannep said I'm sure they're on a rollercoaster ride (probably even more so) than we are.  Some of us are just fortunate to get our kids on an "up" day.  I'm sure they all seem discouraged at one point or another.  Had my son called me the day he failed PFA (pushups) I'm sure he would have been down and discouraged too.  Also as diannep said today is a new day and is probably a better one for her.  I know I have good days and bad so it's no wonder they do too.  just keep thinking that you'll be seeing her in 29 days!!!!  That's less than 30!  I love counting the days down and seeing some progress.  I hope that you are able to get a reward call from her and that she sounds much more positive and upbeat.  I'll be praying for both of you.

joan:  Try to realize that she probably called at a "low" moment.  Yes, the rollercoaster ride is no fun!  She is almost to the point where things take a positive turn...usually in week 4....they can see the "prize" and they set their sights for it.  I know it was heartbreaking to hear her so sad, but today is a new day for her...and hopefully more encouragement lies within it!  Keep the faith!
