just checking in on you ladies *and gentlemen*. You are getting closer!!! You are a small PIR like ours was which is darn nice... I cant imagine how crowded things are with the groups that have 14 divisions... ugh. It is really cool that the RTC is now taking and posting weekly pictures and I hope you get to see some of your sailor there... Although my son is out of boot and into his school, I still come back here to check on you guys, and man it brings back the memories!!! I see you have several "oz's" (the name i gave to the oldies that come back to give advice and direction)... and thats awesome. They are a plethoria of information. You are half way there.. start making your plans... order your memory ribbons from LALA soon so you will be sure to get yours. I just added one of mine into my sons scrap book for memory. At PIR you can tell who is with NAVY 4 MOMS by looking for the blue ribbons. Anyway..us oldies are around if we can help you in any way...
Hope everyone is having a blessed Easter!
Thank you for the Carrie Underwood video JessicaB. It was better than anything she's ever done...could it possibly be the message of the song that brings out even more the talent that she has been given? ;-)
Started the day with a sunrise service, witnessed incredible faith of a family being there at service even though they just lost there wife/mother three days ago, came home just in time to get a call from Hubby who'sin Iraq (2 hours!!), saw "Men of Honor "(amazing true Navy movie), read all of your Happy Easter Blessings, watched this beautiful awesome, video and now going to dinner with my two men here at home. Will finish off by writing my SR tonight.
He is Good all the time!
For those of you going on FB, please don't forget to check back in on this group too. Also, if you post things on RTC FB about NavyforMoms, chances are...your comments will be deleted. Some ladies in the past have posted on there for the FB ladies to check out NavyforMoms and then their comments were gone. Not sure why because the Navy started this group for us back in March 2008! But since they don't have control of what is said on here, they don't want to endorse NavyforMoms on the RTC FB page, I guess.
Happy Easter!
