Why is it when I make plans to visit my sailor in Norfolk, we get blasted with snow? Had to have a webcam baby shower for my daughter-in-law due to the snow 3 weeks ago. I need to get them these gifts somehow. The room is paid for. Snowicane, YUCK! I am way past waiting for spring, I want summer, and lots of it! Nice hot summer days leading into long summer nights.

I've been away and just caught up. Florida visiting my dad. Wish I was still there.
I am glad to hear that your son is home Jeano and congrats to you sailor. Let us know how it all turns out.
I was in Altoona to visit our son 2 weeks ago. We forgot it was Valentines weekend and had to wait 1 1/2 hours at Outback. We arrived at 4:30. The line was almost 3 hours when we finished.
Is 'snowicane' a real weather term? I'm getting a weather education this year that I could do without!
Great olympic hockey night tonight.

Looks like Philly is going to get hit with snow again tomorrow or friday. We are only getting 6 inches. Wow, did I just say "only 6 inches"! We are getting high winds so its time to tie things down.

Hey guys, There is a very strange sight outside. Its a big yellow ball in a strange color sky (its a bright blue color). This sight is now accompanied by crashing and banging sounds as frozen objects are falling off the house. Could this be a sign of Spring?

Jeano, I'm glad to hear your son will be getting out of the hospital. I'm sure he will do better at home.
We are keeping an eye on a gutter that we can't get the ice off of because it is 24 ft up. We are looking forward to some melting on Monday.
And a Big congrats to your son for the battle E.

I got my sense of humor from my Dad. My sailor has it as well, unfortunately, my other son takes after his father. Where did I go wrong with him?

I've got all boys and they're all in the Navy!

I'm with you on that one Jeano. I have all boys also and had to develop a sense of humor.
