OK, I suggested the "Hawaii, Meet and Greet" so I will take responsibility. Just let me know when you win the Pennsylvania lottery and I will step up. LOL.
I visited my 23 year old student in Kutztown Friday and "the baby" (19) in Altoona yesterday. Kutztown looses... what a mess of snow.
On to the olympics.... YEA Canada... the first gold medal on home ground. YEA. I moved here from Canada in 1990 and I am now cheering for USA, except "figure skating", "hockey" and that first "gold medal".
But, what would have been better than Korea wiping out 2nd and 3rd???? Wiping out 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Canada came in 4th as usual. LOL. Canada doesn't win a lot of medals but it comes in 4th a lot. But, yea, I loved that scene.

Hi PA Navy Mom's! Wanted to stop in to wish everyone a Happy Valentine's day and to see how you and your Sailor is doing!

If you all hear a loud primal scream tomorrow about mid-day, you will know it has started to snow in the Burgh again. We are suppose to get between 4 to 6 inches starting tomorrow. Of course the last time they said 4 to 6 inches we ended up with 23. It also looks like DC is about to get hit again later in the week. I guess Mother Nature doesn't like Congress either.

Who is palnning that Meet & Greet in Hawaii anyway?
Comment by LLovesmysailor on February 13, 2010 at 4:45pm
I don't know about you all, but its snowing here again! My sanity is hanging by a thread. Not that I was all that sane to begin with, but how many days of snow can we be expected to stand. They keep telling us we need to keep our walkways clear. So, one inch here and one inch there and you spend everyday digging out. Now I know what people mean when they talk about "being nibbled to death by a duck."

Yes, but it does count as snow on the ground in Hawaii. I have a friend who actually went skiing there years ago. I have the bouquet all ready to go, as soon as Jeano does him in.

I still think we need to get rid of Phil and replace him with Phyllis. Mother natjure should llike that. The ceremony can be you giving Jeano a bouquet of flowers, after she shoots him. lol

Hey everyone, I just heard that for the first time in recorded history there will be snow on the ground in all 50 states at the same time. Wow, mother nature is really upset. Maybe we should start to think about some kind of ceremony to make her happy again. LOL

Awwww Jeano, you must be gushing. What a sweet, sweet sailor you have.

My son in Altoona has to work tonight from 8 until close. I hope it gets better there. He lives off campus up a very steep hill. It is all downhill to school but all uphill home. They can't close because the kids in the dorms must eat.
