For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

i too will miss the letters...its a lost art.. WHICH he was perfecting while in RCU.. hahahahah . He's already loving San Diego!!!!
Totally physically & emotionally exhausted for a few days post for sure!!!
It soooo nice for them to be able to txt or call or FB!! But the letters held more detail & more sentiment-definitaley miss those.
Here's t moving forward.
BTW-I saw Act of Valor last nite-awesome. I can't believe those were real USN sailors in the movie!! So proud!!

loved the snow storm... it was awesome since I HAD NO SNOW THIS WINTER AT HOME and normally do.... but HOLY CRAP IS IT COLD THERE...

Congrats! How did ya like our nifty snow storm?
Well, the day is done.... I have A SAILOR!!! HOOYAH.... i want to thank you all for sticking around and waiting for my PIR.... IT WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING... cried laughed cried hugged A LOT.... he's off to San Diego tomorrow afternoon..... and his new chapter begins. Oh, he talked about 039 A LOT and misses them...he hooked up with FB and had a ton of friend requests from 039 made him sooooo happy!!!! LOVE YOU GUYS ...
T-minus one hour til the tears start flowing.
