OPSEC, OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmust importance. Please take the time to read the Opsec and Community Guidelines. A quick note here: Last Names are never allowed on this site. If it is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but discouraged as their RDC's read this site and can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture.

@ NavyBear - I will probably leave from Sacramento.  Southwest Airlines has the best rates right now. It would be nice to fly together.   I will probably fly into Milwaukee...we are staying at the Marriott Residence Inn in Waukeegan. I really hope we can all meet maybe that Thursday...or the airport..better yet!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving! Thinking of you all as you are away from your SR's! Have a great day!

Happy Thanksgiving, I know it is hard to be away from your recruit but try to enjoy this time with your family and friends. Take the time to count your many blessings knowing your recruit is in good hands. Hopefully this time at bootcamp will pass swiftly and you will be hugging your Sailor very soon. I will remember each and everyone of you and your recruits in my prayers and I really hope you get a nice phone call home today. If you do put them on speaker phone and let the whole family tell him/her how proud they are and how they know they can reach this goal. Have a wonder Thanksgiving, Lora

@Snick, Before my SR left I bought (and hid) a book of "Christmas songs" titled It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Zombies.  Yup.  It's every bit as sick and disgusting as it sounds.  But he and his friends were always killing them on some repulsive video game and I thought it might give hime a chuckle as the Holidays approach.  I photo copied a couple of the songs and wrote a letter on the back and sent it off a couple of days ago.  We'll see if I get any requests for more of the same.  They really are disgustiong but at least its something different to put in a letter.
