CONGRATULATIONS to all the new Sailors and their families!! Safe travels to all to an awesome PIR!!
Remember, PIR is just the beginning of the Navy journey. Keep plugged into Navy for Moms where there are groups for A school, C school, ratings (jobs), bases, ships, states, regional, twins and multiples, and the Christian Chat that I am a part of!
Also, the U.S. Navy Recruit Training Command page on Facebook puts up photos from each PIR. If you see your Sailor in a pic or more, you can download it to your own computer by either clicking on the picture, going down to Options and downloading it OR right click, "Save Picture As" to a file on your computer~~
ProudNucGirlfriend. All should have finished in Div 61, unless someone didn't pass one of their final tests before BattleStations---they have to pass them all to do BattleStations. If someone failed BattleStations, they will be able to go again and pass.
Here it is verbatim from the RTC Family Guide:
Identification:
All guests 18 years and older must present valid
government issued photo identification (driver’s
license, state ID card, passport, military ID card). Guests
17 years or younger who do not possess one the items
listed above must present one of the following: school ID
card, driver’s permit, copy of their birth certificate or
social security card.
royalbrit: You need a govt issued photo ID, and you can have a social security card or birth certificate as backup. Kids can have a photo student ID or driver's license, young kids can have birth certificate or social security card.
Staying at Days Inn did anyone find out if we need 2 id's
just bought boxer briefs as requested 10 white, 3 black, 3 gray (hope that is OK)
I don't think so. Though they will need white for their dress whites later on.
We had a PIR veteran mom Betsy, mom of Stennis sailor who used to send her Sailor son(and probably still does!) new boxers all the time with logos and such, Batman fave team, etc!
The first thing the Females want to do is get new Undies...sports bras and granny panties in plain white get real old.
Ditto on the tighty-whities's for the guys!
How about these:
Got my call today as well - so Proud
lost connect so I did not get too much information!
Question - do you know if there is a color restriction for men's underwear?
Congrats to the new sailors of 910/061/062!
