~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.

~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.

~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.

~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:

• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:

• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.

Some Suggestions:

~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.

~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option

~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends"

I haven't received a call from my SR for two weeks. Anyone else in the same situation?

Hello. Can someone help me to remember what the website is to watch the PIR live streaming? I think I read that we may be able to watch the flags two weeks before PIR? Just hoping that I can catch a glimpse of my son this week or next...

Diannep . . You are the best! Thank you for checking on the airport situation! I can not express my appreciation for all your support to all of us!

thank you so much, diannep, for the vitamin info. I am not sure what I will do yet but continue to pray for everyone's health and strength in the last stretch of this stage. Blessings,

PoodleLady:  I have emailed RTC to see if we can get any info as far as Milwaukee Airport currently being used.  I know the USO is now set up there, so it is quite possible.  They always try to fly the sailors from the airport that not only offers the cheapest flights, but also can accommodate the most sailors.  Hope to have an answer from RTC early this week.  Will post then.

Good morning everyone and happy Sunday

PoodleLady:  So far, we have not heard of sailors flying out of Milwaukee, but like I said, we know it is coming so anytime now.  I know it is hard to book travel when you don't know your new sailor's flight info.  But sadly, they themselves won't know this until right before PIR.  Since you will want to visit with your sailor at the airport before flight departure, it may be best to book your own travel into Chicago rather than Milwaukee for convenience.

For those who have sailors staying in GL for A School, they would have a choice on booking their arrangements either through Chicago or Milwaukee.

Good Morning All !

Diannep . . .thanks. I so hope you are correct on the airports! I just finished reading the post on PIR Day and Liberty . . . It mentions all three airports as a possibility! So frustrating trying to make plans!

I do appreciate your help!
