OPSEC.

~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.

~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.

~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.

~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:

• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:

• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.

Some Suggestions:

~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.

~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option

~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends"

Got a call from my SR yesterday and he had also been sick. Doing good though. Does anyone know if that will change his PIR date? I didn't think to ask him.

Twonavydaughters:   That is strange.  I could see possibly a voided check if she were to open a Navy Fed account there, but not sure why she would need the checkbook.  Don't think I would send that...unless you want to just send her a couple of checks.

Your division section will be directly in front of your division.  There will be Honor Recruits with Division Number signs in front of your section.  No problems finding them!  You sit in order, and they march in also in order.

Good Morning!

I have figured out how the divisions will line up in the drill hall for PIR 01/17/2014. Here it is. I'm not sure if 910 will be doing flags or drill and band. If 910 is doing drill and band, then you might want to sit close to the center to best see your SR if he or she is in 910.

Going from the left and going toward the reviewing stand (center), the divisions will line up 061, 062, 063 and 064.

From review stand going to the right, 065, 066, 805 and 806.

The 900 division is 910.

I heard from my SR late tonight. He said they have been sick and then on Tuesday they took out their wisdom teeth, rest one day and back to work. Over all he was good.

I did not get a call from my daughter today, :( Div 910 ...But I got creamed by her on Wednesday when she called and asked me why I have not sent her new calling cards because she "gave them all away already and had only one left"!! go figure! the good Samaritan (love that kid), and I get yelled at!!

any way,  she was in good spirits... she said her their RDC is though.

But here is what she said when I asked her if she slept on the top or the bottom: "the first week I had the top bunk, but once I got to my Div I had the bottom bunk.  Seems that the RDC put all the short people on the top bunk on purpose so they get kill when they jump of their bunks in the morning" lol

Diannep-why would she need her check book? She told her dad that they asked for her debit card and her check book before week 5

Hi PIR 01/17/2014 Moms,

Just got a call from my SR.  He sounded so good, excited :-)  We feel so blessed!  It was getting so late, we didn't think we were going to hear from him this weekend and then, the phone rang - Waukegan, IL.  Like the veteran Moms tell us (love them), you just never know.  Happy Holidays to All and God Bless!

I got a call from my son about 7pm central time. He has been very sick. Spent about 6 hours in the infirmary. Says he is doing better. He is counting the weeks. Only 5 left!!!

He is in Div 66.
