~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.

~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.

~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.

~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:

• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:

• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.

Some Suggestions:

~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.

~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option

~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends"

calee:  Yes, the remainder of the divisions will be completing BattleStations  starting tonight/done in the morning.  So sorry you won't be able to drive there....but if he is not a sailor by Friday, you wouldn't be allowed to see him.  Hoping that he passes that run and becomes a sailor soon!

Ladies, be sure to tell those not attending PIR to watch the Livestream Fri morning.  The link to the Livestream links is under the "pages" section, above and to the right, under the MEMBERS PHOTO BOX.

Ah yes! Kirikala, my Sailor also said that they need to be in their best behavior for the next 2 days so they do not loose their awards/ flags!

My daughter, or should I say my new Sailor, called a little while ago and I thought I'd never get her off the phone!  It was great; talked for over an hour and when we hung up she was going to call her grandparents.  She was so happy!

She said everyone in her division 62 and division 61 that participated in the Battle Station made it through!  Yeah!

She flys out Saturday morning from Midway to San Antonio for A School (HM). Her flight leaves at 6:55 a.m. so we will be up early in hopes to see her off at the airport . . .and give her the cell phone!

We fly out in the morning for Great Lakes, been busy all evening getting last minute stuff done so we can leave.  Hope to meet many of you this weekend. Safe journey to you all!  And many thanks for all your support through this last few weeks and especially this last couple of days!

Our grandson was to retake his running test today...no call, it appears that his div 63 may be doing bs tonight? I'm guessing that the day delay has caused this nail biter situation and we'll receive our phone call tomorrow. Unfortunately that isn't enough time to make the drive to Great Lakes....very disappointing.

Best wishes to all of the new Navy families, safe travels to all.

We got our call today too - we have a sailor!  So very proud of my daughter and all those in division 910.  She said the battle stations were delayed a day because it was too cold one night for them to be outside so it pushed all the battle stations out a day.  Thank you all who shared information and support during the last 8 weeks.  We fly to Great Lakes tomorrow - see you there.

Does anyone know if div 064 got some kind of award?

Congratulations to all new Sailors and I'm so happy for all of you that received the call. Thank you Jasmine, DanaD, travsproudmom, Pam. My fingers are still crossed, happy to know that my daughter still has a chance. Catherine25, for your husband as well. He still has a chance for PIR isn't that great. Either way, I will be watching and I will purchase the DVD for her. It's still her division and they are still her brothers and sisters that are graduating and they all went through together. Safe Travels to everyone on the road and in the air. Kirikala: Praying all goes well with your daughter's surgery. Whose staying and whose going? Tough decision.
