My husband is ship 03 div 048...does that means he will be calling today?? I have been extremely worried! Haven't heard from him since he wrote me a letter on jan 10th telling me how he and a bunch of other recruits got sick with some crazy stomach flu and he was in treatment with 3 I'Vs and like 6 different meds! He ended the letter by saying he was a little better but still not feeling well but promised to write me "tomorrow" which should of been jan 11th now it is the 20th and I haven't heard ne thing at all!... Very worried! On top of it it was our sons 7th birthday on the 12th and he didn't write...very unlike him even if he could literally only write "happy birthday" and send it he would of! We have a 7 and 3 yr old and it makes things that much more stressful when I'm worried and don't kno what's happening with my husband! Words of encouragement plz! Its been 10 days since he's written and he usually writes 3x a week!

Good morning!!  The serious countdown begins!  OH, and I've decided to bring the kids.  I'll be the one with- um... too many kids!   I'm so excited.  SR does not think I'm bringing all the kids.  Hope he's happy.

Ladies, FTLW was kind enough to start a discussion on the PIR 1/20 page in memory of SR Christopher Walker.  Please feel free to visit it and leave your condolences to the family.  His fiance and I believe his mom were a part of N4Moms.  We are hoping that they will check the page in the future and see how much their family is being covered in prayer.

Good morning everyone.  T minus 7 hours or so before hopefully the calls start to come in from the first sailors of PIR 1/27!  HOOYAH!

Remember, ask if all in the division passed and post that for others.  Some may have watch and not get to make their calls today.  If your division # is not in your screen name here, be sure to post the division you heard from.  Some get so excited when that phone rings (well...ok....MOST!)...that they forget to post the division number of the ones calling.  Phones in the bras today, ladies...don't leave them for a moment (if you don't have them in the bras!  :-)  )

Tomorrow will be Captains Cup for them.  All divisions in this PIR group participate.  It is a very fun competitive day for them.  Here is the info:

Thanks sofas mom!  I know this has been a big help having a big Navy family here!  My dad was Air Force, and several other family members in various military.  I know what you mean by remote stations or not being able to tell family where you are or what you're doing.  With the rate my daughter is going in, I know I will have to deal with that.  It's nice to know there is a group here ready to help you through it all on top of family and friends here.  :D  I agree that this group has been great!!
