I spoke with Brandy's husband tonight. Brandy was sleeping. I let him know that we all were thinking about her and expressed our condolences over the loss of their daughter Karly.
They are hoping she can go home tomorrow...she had a little trouble with eating...her esophagus had a tear in it...but they have inserted a feeding tube. She had surgery on her back. She had actually broken a bone clean through...but she was up and walking like Ashleys post said. Oh and seeing Ashley definitely made momma feel much better!
I believe he said they had been at the hospital since last Tuesday. I will post the hospital website for you if you wish to check on her:

Thanks so much, JudyAnn, for keeping everyone up to date on Brandy. Her sailor is one strong lady! I bet she is a godsend to her mom right now, while grieving the loss of her sister. God Bless Her...and all of them. I'm sure there is still such a sense of shock.
Thank you JudyAnn and CoMom(you pm'd me on here). That's what my group message was about...IDK why it didn't go out to some...it's one of those things I don't use on here. Guess I'll have to find out about it.
From Brandy's SR daughter this morning "Currently, my mom is still in the hospital. we're looking at hopfeully her getting out tomorrow or Wednesday. Her back is healing fine, and her wrist seems to be alright. She ate solid food today without complaining so things seem to be looking up. ...I know everyone is wondering about Karley. We DO plan on having a funeral. So, friends and friends family WILL be able to see her before she's cremated(moms wishes). After seeing all the love and support from her friends and everyone we decided it wouldnt be fair to just keep her to ourselves. We just started making the preperations today, but news came in about my mom, so we aren't 100 percent sure when the funeral will be. When we figure out all the details, i will let everyone know."
Yep, FTLW. Now you see what I go through when sending out BattleStations schedules through MESSAGE TO GROUP! Very few of them arrive...sigh...wish they could go into the N4Moms email box!
Actually, the ones NOT receiving the messages could have THEIR settings not set to receive them.
Good morning all...
ProudofGar, JudyAnn, Navy Mom,
It could be me (most likely LOL) because "Send Message to Group" is a feature I never use and have yet to "explore" but it let me ask...when Battlestations messages went out from diannep did you receive those in your personal emails?
If not, then it could be your settings on here.
If so, then I have to check mine again and see why.
I didn't get anything in mine either :(!
Oh...dang the thing! I'll send personally to you too! You know I don't trust it...I think it is picky!
I sent to your inbox here on N4M's Navy Mom. TY
