Opps...too fast on the trigger... anyway she told me it was fine then grinned and said she was feeling dangerous. So...don't know how much help that was. :-) She was particularly grateful for her bra and undies...which went back with her...lol. What was really funny was when she put on her low rise jeans she asked me if they were always that low...kept tuggin on 'em, checkin to make sure there was no crack exposure and was really bothered that her tummy showed when she lifted her arms. She was not modest about changing in front of someone...the Navy fixed that! But they appear to have replaced the modesty with some appearance standards, God love 'em!

I'm so sorry to hear about the accident and Brandy and her family.  :(  I'll be praying. that is a tragic situation and i cannot imagine what the family and the sailor must be going through.

Diannep...my SR did change into her jeans and a sweatshirt then we joined the redt of the family in a lounge area in the hotel. She said as long as she didn't leave the hotel she was good, but when I asked her are you sure? She did say she w

I don't know where in route the accident happened. The whole situation just breaks my heart for them. Brandy's SR and mine were bunk neighbors and became good friends. My daughter said Chief informed the Divison after liberty Friday night. Our red flag radar started going off when Brandy didn't show up at Sarges function and we knew she was planning to. Leann tried to call her obviously without success. Brandy's daughter is attending A-school in GL and my daughter is at Pensacola FL now for her's so I don't know if I'll get much more info. I'm sure the Navy will give concessions to Brandy's daughter. I keep seeing the glow on her face after graduation. I got to meet her and give her a big hug but we didn't visit long as she was looking for her mom and sister who she thought had been there for a couple days. None of us knew at that point. Oh man...this just sucks.

I see she was from Arizona.  What a beautiful family picture she has on her FB page.  Such a tragedy...

Oh my gosh, JudyAnn.  That is awful!  I can't imagine being on her way to PIR with her daughter and having that horrible happen....thinking of her sailor too.  Prayers prayers prayers....for Brandy, her sailor, and the rest of the family!  Please keep us posted if you get more info.  Where was she traveling from?

Ladies:  We are having a debate on whether the new sailors are still allowed to wear "civies' in the hotel room after PIR.  We know they can't wear them out of the room, but did anyone's sailor change into civies while relaxing in the hotel room?  We N4Moms veterans can't imagine that isn't allowed anymore, but are wondering what all did.  We are trying to advise future PIR groups.  Thanks.
