Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

The daughter traveling with her was killed and Brandy is in critical condition with severe back injuries. Prayers are obviously needed. So very sad. I know this is an open forum but don't have the energy to private message everyone. Please feel free to remove the post if you feel its more appropriate.

Sorry we didn't make it to the Meet and Greets, and I only spoke with a few at PIR, I was in such a state of euphoria (I don't know if I spelled that correctly?) I couldnt' think straight.

We had such a wonderful day with our son, I only wish his brother came with us.

We met him at the airport this morning to give him his cel phone and say our final "See ya in the Spring!". We didn't stay till his flight left, we had the long drive home. But it was fun keeping in touch all day, via text messages, in a race to see who gets to their final destination first! We Won!! We left O'Hare at 6:30am and arrived home at 5pm. He was on the bus from his arrival airport to his new base.

So, I am tired and ready to crawl into my own bed!

She was driving to GL from Arizona and was planning to be at Sarges meet n greet last night but didn't show. Leann has tried to call her and left a msg but we haven't heard or seen hide nor hair of her so getting concerned. Please post if there is any word. Thanks!
