OPSEC, OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmust importance. Please take the time to read the Opsec and Community Guidelines. A quick note here: Last Names are never allowed on this site. So glad that 910 finally called!  Good morning ladies.  Safe travel for those going to GL today, and enjoy your day to the ones already there!

Liza:  I wouldn't worry.  If you take the hotel shuttle or drive and park in the Metra station, you don't need the gate pass.  It is only for those wanting to drive onto the base.  If your sailor is not staying in GL for A School and therefore you will be dropping off at RTC that night after liberty, you can just drop at the front gate w/out the gate pass.

HELP!  My husband is in 910, and I threw out his original form letter, thinking since I went through boot camp last year, I knew what was in it...  I COMPLETELY forgot that there was a  gate pass password in there, and now of course I can't print gate passes for graduation.  Can anyone help me???

Ok ladies. This is my last post to the 1/27/12 PIR page. It's been amazing. You all are absolutely amazing women. I can not thank you enough for all of the support. I've made some friends, but we are now connected through FB. My SR is going to San Antonio for A School to become a Corpsman. If we are not connected yet and you would like to be, IM me. I would really like to connect to any others who are heading off to SA so we can continue to help one another. See you all at the Meet and Greet and PIR! I have to start studying up on the other pages so I know what comes next. Hugs!!!,

Hi ladies. Laying in bed at the Residence Inn Marriott in Waukegen. They are great. Lots of free food and free shuttle to dinner and Walmart for some waters etc. If I had to do it over again I would have stayed in Guernee. (or how ever you spell it. Lol). It's close enough to walk to the mall and lots to do! But this hotel is nice with lots of good things and they are great to us. Now about Sarge.....HE IS THE BEST!!! Use him if you can!!! He is on it! You will not regret it. He is so knowledgable and transportation costs are much cheaper than the other local services. We've talked to others today that have confirmed that so I've been giving them Sarge's number. Can I say we are blessed with this weather! My hubby has been wearing a light jacket. Not me, but he is loving the cool weather. No wind is nice. And where is the snow???? Lol. Not complaining. I will see you all tomorrow!!!!! Have a great evening.

Diannep- yes, my daughter is in 910 and she was allowed 2 brief phone calls...one to me and one to her Dad. I'm still wondering why they weren't allowed to call with the other divisions yesterday, but I suppose we will never know what happened. Thankful to speak with her and very proud of her and her division!
