Hi everyone, I hope you had a good day. Mine was very long. I sent a whole bunch of the PIR ribbons this afternoon. So if you have already placed your order and sent your payment your ribbons are probably on their way. Here is a pic so you can see how they look but this pic only has the ones who have the first name on them. This pic has 3 or 4 PIR groups represented. You still have plenty of time to place an order so if you want more info just send me a friend request on this site or an email to uniquememorymakers@yahoo.com. Thanks so much :-)
I got 3 letters today! Thats a total of 6. These ones were a lot better. Less Sad. He fianlly started getting my letters. He said that everyone in his Div was impressed with all his letters. He passed his physical and swim test. He said almost all his Div failed, so I am REALLY proud of him!! 45 more days!!! I miss my hubby so much, but I can't help but smile. He said he cried when he got my letters and the pictures my daughter made for him. He said it was a good thing it's dark. This is the toughest thing I have ever been through, and I can't even imagine how it is for him. I am so proud of my SR!!!!! I cannot wait to see him again.
Thanks for the tip. I haven't gotten my ticket yet my father-in-law was gonna see about getting it for me, but when I get the info I will see if anyone wants to meet up to split a cab. Thank you to all. Everyones coments help make this a little easier!!!!!

It happens sometimes. Glad you got the form letter.
Finally received the Form Letter today. Whew! I was getting worried. Apparently she had 2 weeks of P-Days. Not sure why. Also found out that she is Ship 3 Div 056 and her graduation date is 2/3/12. That's a week later than we expected, but it's because she had an extra week of processing. She said the food is great, her hair looks like crap & she really needs a shower. She's a funny girl. I'm so happy to hear she's okay & she even said she misses us. If you knew her you'd realize how huge that is for her to say. She's always been a tough one that doesn't show alot of emotion.
hey... yes, tim is my husband. he called briefly last night to give me information to get back to him through fax. paperwork the recruiter hadn't covered. it was brief, but he did tell me the division mailed letters yesterday and that if all goes well with the division, they should be able to call on friday. immediately, he said "this isn't my regular call, i just need you to send me some information for paperwork, we should be able to call friday." :)
Good Afternoon Group!
So Kat.weir, is Tim your spouse? And he called yesterday? All of this is so weird.
Thanks Navy Mom Ship 3, Div 047 for clearing up the matter regarding if Monday would count as "Holiday". Appreciate the time you took to get answer for all of us :)
yah!!! for 02/910 :) kat, you getting a phone call is great and i really hope they behave themselves :) so we get a call friday!
