Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Welcome to the Division Discussion for divisions 099 and 100.

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

did everyone from 99 get calls?  I hope so

no!""I still hasn't heard frm my son!!!

I got a phone call today!! So exciting!

Sr said he was sick, also mentioned making up for lost time but should graduate on the 8th, they've also designed their flag!

Got my call yesterday.  He said that he is Education Chief so is helping some of the SR's study for and escorting them to the test centers.  There are a "bunch" who are having a lot of trouble.  But J is happy, healthy and enjoys PT, what more could a mom ask for?  oh yeah, more letters and calls. (He said he's way to busy)

I can't believe I got a birthday card from my son. I was so surprised! I wasn't sure if he even KNEW when my birthday was. They alwasys surprise you don't they! He sent a letter to his little brother, it was very touching. I am so proud of him. I am still living off of his phone call from Friday night though. Eventhough it was cut short, it was wonderful to hear his voice and to know he is not broken. He mentioned more than 50 percent of his division did not pass the first physical assessment and he wanted to help everyone he could. So great to hear that. He also said pink eye was really bad and getting worse everyday, it was an automatic 2 days SIQ (?). So he was begging for butterfly kisses, no one would do it. So his humor cheered us. I wanted to hit pause. I cried myself to sleep, eventhough I know he is safe, I just miss him so much! Life for us is changing and I struggle with that adjustment. On a different note, what meet anf greet is everyone going to? I think it would be great to meet you all. (Did I miss the convo already?)

Congratulations on the birthday card, that is great.  My son/daughter is in the same div.  I will be going to the Sundance Saloon Meet & Greet.  Hope to see you there.

Our son is Ship 13, Div 100.  They apparently had a snafu with the sending out of the form letter with the address so we didn't get that until Thursday, last week (1/10);  But we got his first phone call on Friday!  I missed it but he as able to talk to his mom and already she could tell the difference.  Look forward to meeting all of you at PIR.
