Oh I know about running to the phone experience I was in the Navy Office tonight and my phone was in my purse and started ringing I couldnt find it so i just dumped my entire bag on the floor lol. They we're like "now when you do that for a phone call its love"
I am so anxious for a call so far i've gotten 5 calls - for some reason he'll call at the most random unexpected times I think he's just making something up to tell the RDC so he can call from the RDCs office b/c thats where three of the calls came from. And then when he gets on the phone he says something that makes no sense and just tells me he loves me and misses me...etc.
Hoping ya'll get some random calls

I am so disappointed I can't come to the meet and greet. I have to work that day and because we are right in the middle of a big rollout I won't get out until after 7. I am just grateful that I got Friday off as all time off was cancelled for the month of February at my company.

I will jump on the mail junkie band wagon too. Its so bad that my staff can tell each morning whether I have gotten mail or not. Its rather cute, they have been very supportive, but they all agree, they can't wait until boss ladies kid can make contact again. Believe me they will all know when I get the call.

philysgal, I agree just like Labor. I almost think this anticipation is worse. I was often told it gets easier as they grow older but I am here to tell you, Dennis will be 24 soon and between college years and now Basic Training, I will take him in the terrible twos again in a heart beat.

Go 083/084, kick butt and make all of us very proud!!!

The letter we got yesterday confirmed 083 and 084 are tonight. Can't wait for the call tomorrow. Can't concentrate today and I can't imagine tomorrow will be any better. What makes it even worse is all the friends and family that keeps asking "you heard anything yet" I have never in my life felt this out of control before, and I am the queen of planning and list making LOL

Your right not a pretty site but funny. Then my mom tells me she has her tax stuff ready for me. She laughs at me and then she wants me to do her taxes.....Go figure.

OK ladies shower moment for everyone to laugh at. I had just finished taking a shower and was getting ready to grab a towel. Well what do you think happened. Yes, my cell phone ramg and it was at the oppisite end of the house. UGH anyways grabbed the towel without wrapping it around only to get to the phone and it be my mom and not my son. So now my carpet is wet all the way down the hallway. And of course I told my mom that I thought it was my son calling and all she did was laugh. LOLOLOL

Thank you everyone for your support! Im feeling a little bit better today except for when I woke my daughter was very sick - she must have some sort of stomach virus :( And I hope I am not catching it also. I think it might be nerves with me I am so sick of this waiting game and i'm paranoid to the point that I hear my cell ringing when it isnt. I check it like every hour. But just a few more days and I feel alot better. I just want my SAILOR back in my arms !!!!

How are ya'll today.?

Worked out like a maniac this morning to try and take my mind off of BS tonight. Have no appetite and nothing is calming the nerves right now. Just can't seem to keep my mind focused on anything but that. I am supposed to be developing training materials for my staff right now but its just not happening. My prayers and Love is going out to everyone with BS tonight.

Terri P,
Tell your son he is more than welcome to hang out with us on Sunday if he would like.

NAVYWIFE1122,
What you need to do is just sit down take some really deep breaths and relax. When I am trying to find something really really important I do the same thimg and panic. But I find after looking for hours and getting all upset does me no good. But if I relax and take deep breaths it always comes to me in due time and I find what I am looking for. One thing have you empty your purse or diaper bag? Could it have come off when you were trying to get something out of one of them? If your child has a toy box have you checked it? I found my keys one time in my boys toy box. But I let them live. LOLOL

Lala'smom,
Hubby and I have been together since 6/05 and married since 1/31/09. My kids were teenagers when he came into our lives. And in the short amount of time he has made such a difference in their lives. And I have to give the ex alittle nod, he did call my hubby and tell him that he has made such a difference in the boys lives. And thanked him. The youngests grades have been A's& B's since 2006. Except for the time we were in Ohio and the school would not listen to me. So glad we are not there now. My hubbys only problem is and we are still working on it is THAT MILITARY ATTITUDE. I have to call him on it every now and then. He does not show his emotions. But I know that he is so proud of the boys. My dad is the same way with his emotions after 20yrs in Special Forces.
