Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

If it is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended. First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture.

I do have question about the photo packages. While I read this recently somewhere, I sure can't find it anymore. I seem to remember reading that our SRs have to put the order in, and my SR thinks that I can order. So if any of you know the info, I would greatly appreciate it. Have a great day all!!

It is too itchy for me and makes me get a rash. I hope you will show us some pics :-) I absolutely love handmade quilts. I would love to make one but they just take too long. I am more of an instant gratification kind of person and like projects that can be finished quickly lol.

Comment by FireTeamLeaderWife aka FTLW on January 29, 2012 at 10:31pm: It is also important to keep the form letter because it has the confidential password on it for you to be able to print your gate pass for entrance with your vehicle to RTC. You will not be able to drive onto base without it. You will be able to print your gate pass 11 days before PIR. RTC website will add a link next to your TG info on the Upcoming Graduation page on their website here:
