Happy PIR Day!  For those of you running late and driving, stay to the left on Buckley (car line for RTC on your right).  Bypass RTC and turn around at the train station right past there.  Head back to RTC from the opposite direction....easy and quick left turn onto RTC then!

CONGRATULATIONS to all the new Sailors and their families!!  Safe travels to all to an awesome PIR!!

Remember, PIR is just the beginning of the Navy journey.  Keep plugged into Navy for Moms where there are groups for A school, C school,  ratings (jobs), bases, ships, states, regional, twins and multiples, and the Christian Chat that I am a part of!

Also, the U.S. Navy Recruit Training Command page on Facebook puts up photos from each PIR.  If you see your Sailor in a pic or more, you can download it to your own computer by either clicking on the picture, going down to Options and downloading it OR right click, "Save Picture As" to a file on your computer~~

DoubleNavyMom,

I'm glad for you that you know exactly the details of your SR daughter's situation and what needs to be done next for her to become a Sailor.  For me, it would be the "not knowing" that gets me more worried.  Prayers for her ear drum to heal quickly~~  (((HUGS))) to you!
