DoubleNavyMom:  I am so sorry to hear that. Both you and your daughter are in my thoughts and prayers.  Her graduation date may have changed but she will graduate: )  Keep us posted as we are on this journey with you.

DoubleNavyMom:  CatMom is great about picking appropriate verses for different times in Bootcamp!  They have blessed many!  Please continue to post on this page and let others know of the progress your daughter is making.  This is YOUR group and always will be since she made it almost to the very end.  So others here want to keep her (and you!) in prayer and know the results!  This is just a little delay....it won't be long now!

DoubleNavyMom - I am so sorry for your daughter and you. Prayers for a full recovery for her and then finishing up Boot. When she graduates please let us know so we can rejoice with you!

That's wonderful what you did for the other Recruits :-)

Thank you Mi3girlz. I am also disappointed that I will not get to meet the other young women in her division that I have heard so much about in their bonding over these last 7 weeks. 5 of them even wrote to me after I sent an extra large box of band aids for boot blisters. Sweet girls!

p.s. Catmom509 - thank you so very much for posting the encouraging passages from the Bible. Not sure how you choose, but the one for Friday went straight to my heart.

DoubleNavyMom I'm sorry to hear that. Sending prayers for strength for all of you. Hang in there she will need your support definitely more now.

Hello all. 2am here & I am just getting the nerve to post that I got that call. My daughter will not be graduating next Friday with her division & the great group of young women she has met. I have to be strong for her but I gotta say that I cried later thinking about her in medical hold unit for two MORE weeks. Just have to redouble my letters. I wish all of you Navy Moms the best when you finally get to hug your brand new sailors next week at graduation.

....also hoping that he has regained his health and is back on track!

wndermom:  The final (3rd) one is the most important PFA.  They MUST pass that one in order to do BattleStations.  Hoping that you do not receive that dreaded call, but rather that great I'm a Sailor call!

Comment by wndermom on February 20, 2015 at 6:52pm

Ok everyone.....I got a letter dated Feb 15 from my son in div 099. He is freaking out about his final PFA. He said that he failed the first one and was in the hospital for the second. Since he had pneumonia he hasn't been able to run. Now, I am freaking out hoping and praying that I DO NOT get a "I failed don't come to graduation" call.
