DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.
~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.
~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.
~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:
• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:
• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.
Some Suggestions:
~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.
~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option
~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

Thanks so much, all the snow here is gone already and hopefully gone from all the roads from here to Cherokee :)
Good morn all...
Beautiful picture........I'm heading over to the mountains for the weekend...Happy Birthday to me....I love the snow....but I didn't live in it every day...we're in a great location 2 hours to snow...2 hours to the beach....
lala-drive safe for your date night...have fun!
Battle Stations-a little bird told me div 114 date, not my SR because I haven't heard from him in over 3 weeks(he's really busy)..PM me-if you'd like to know-I'm really excited for those calls to start coming home!!!
Thanks for everyone that suggested pizza places, I also heard the Chicago beef sandwiches are the best....humm...may have to try one of those too...:))
Remember that we cannot post any BattleStations dates on this page. You can post that you have one and let others private message you. I have many of the dates for this group. Keep in mind that they can change though....
Here is the BattleStations info:

Good Morning Ladies! BattleStations for this group will start next week! Can you believe it? They will finish up PIR week.
Good Morning!
Christi you are sooo right about that day dropping below 14. I was like a kid in a candy store today at work. Seems like this is all I can talk about, I am just so excited for our SR's. Thank God this site is here so we all dont think we're all Crazy with this obsession.
Red Rover - I am so glad you found it! There are a couple of moms on FB who have said that they found the same material. Working on all my "projects" helps make the time go faster. Holding my "blankie" makes me feel like PIR is getting so close! I don't know if anyone else feels this way, but I breathed a huge sigh of excitement when that count down clock dropped below 14 days!
