~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.
~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.
~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.
~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:
• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:
• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.
Some Suggestions:
~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.
~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option
~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

Ah! Found it! This one has PIR 3/29 in the link!!! I tested it too! :) Thanks for checking it out! Didn't mean to confuse folks!
That one is for AFTER you have made your RSVP, so, maybe someone can help us with the right one!!! ARGHH! Thanks for the heads up tho!
YEAH! Thanks for passing this on....it took a little fidgeting to find it, but! Success!

Here is the direct link so everyone can find it! Thanks lavendergrl8!
diannep-i clocked on the sarges meet n greet to the right and it has an event for 3-28 would that be ours? thanks :-) the sundance one is the one we should go to?
Yes, Lala, I thought it was worth asking about. Could have changed!
I saw that post as well Diannep. When we were there it was the same price with or without the kitchenette so maybe it has changed?
CourtRenee, I would just keep the little ones up and walking around and checking everything out while you guys are waiting for it to start. Just have someone saving a seat :) Sit down with them right when it is time to start. There will be so much going on and lots of movement so they will be watching all of that and should do fine :) There will be lots of people there with babies :)
I have seen it posted now that the Navy Lodge rooms with the kitchenettes are about $5/$6 more. I had said that I thought they were the same price. Just wanted to correct that!
Thanks for adding that info, Lancnavymom. We had been told that they asked that the sailors stop by the desk at some point, but then were told that it is not always enforced.
Thanks for the info about the construction too...didn't realize that is still going on. Had been told that much is renovated already. Appreciate that so we can pass on to the other groups! Did they say when it would be finished???
CourtRenee: Not sure if she will be allowed to wait on the base with them without being in PIR hall....or get into the gate after PIR has started. You may want to call Public Affairs and tell them that she and the kids are on "the list," but you are worried about them tolerating the whole program and ask if she can wait in the Visitors Center with them. I'm not sure that is allowed, but worth asking about. I really don't think they will allow her on the base past 8:45 (it starts at 9). Here is the PAO #:
