N4M's Community Guidelines
and
OPSEC.

~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.

~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.

~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.

~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:

• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:

• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.

Some Suggestions:

~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.

~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option

~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends"

Thanks, CatMom:  Yes, both were 12, one almost 13.  Hips went on the Lab (the most recent one) and he couldn't get up and once we got him up, he would fall.  Hips terribly atrophied.  Just couldn't let him suffer like that anymore.  The other one had something going on that would require a complicated surgery....he stopped eating for a week before I had to make the decision.  We had him for 12 yrs, since 4 mos old (rescue) and the other since he was 5 yrs old (7 yrs).  Blessed to have had them!  Blessings to your sweet kitty to hang in there!

diannep,

I can't imagine 2 fur babies leaving our family at the same time! Both of yours from old age? Just such a comfort to have them there for pets and love!

I have a 16 year old kitty Genesis, my Sailor daughter's black & white with golden eyes, who is hanging on. Diapering him, but he has a great appetite, talks alot like always, and getting around. Just taking care of him and giving him love as long as I can! He is our talker kitty and I can't imagine life without him...

The Lord will lead you to that perfect Lab pup to add to your family and fill the void left by your 2 lovies. Your sweet grandson could probably name the next one when he or she joins your home~~

(((HUGS))) to you~~
