~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.
~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.
~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.
~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:
• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:
• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.
Some Suggestions:
~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.
~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option
~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

Congratulations Melissa!
Well at least I am not alone lol.
marla rae, betsy is right sometimes the Navy slows down the romance but sometimes it speeds it up. It sure did speed it up for mine lol. boyfriend went to PIR then to A-school to propose, then back again to A-school 4 days before he left for boot camp and got married at the courthouse. It was 5 months later before they even lived in the same state and then a "real" wedding on the first anniversary date, and two years later they are expecting a baby girl. It can be very crazy!!!!
Melissa, that was super sweet. What a great neighbor you have :) If he knew your were pregnant he probably would have done the driveway and sidewalk too lol. Congrats on the new baby. I know how excited you are. i am super excited about my grandbaby girl coming the beginning of August <3
Good morning ladies!!! I have some good news to share. Sadly it's not about my SR.
Here in Indiana we got about 5-9 inches of snow over night. I went out to clean my car off to get to work and my neighbor had cleaned it off for me!! How awesome is that?!
This neighbor knows that my husband is at boot camp, but i dont think he knows that I am pregnant! (16 weeks). What a wonderful blessing to encounter on this frigid morning!!
Good morning... We got 14 inches of snow yesterday. Thats alot for us. Meet and greet there seems to be two one at Ramada and one at a Bar is this correct? What is the difference between the two?
Hey Marlarae! We are staying at the lodge also! I'm not sure if we will make the Meet and Greet, but will try! See you soon!
marla.rae, Sometimes the Navy will slow down some romances, so there is hope for that.
MamaKrayKray, we have about 5 inches of the heavy stuff in MD right now too.
Good morning everyone! LalaRibbon - I'm with you,,,over the snow. We are in a winter storm advisory. Two inches of the heavy, wet snow fell early this morning with more still falling. Schools are closed. The groundhog needs to be fired.
Out of curiosity, how do they select/pick/elect the Yoeman, and how many are there in a group?
We have 2 rooms booked at the Navy Lodge. Boyfriend is coming and so is my middle daughter. We had a suite booked at Courtyard by Marriott in Waukegan, but could get 2 rooms at Navy Lodge for less than suite at Courtyard. My husband and I are driving up, so will have a car. Boyfriend and sister are flying. Hope to go to Sarge's meet and greet.
Good morning everyone, snowing here in western NC...... again.... I am so over it! lol
