for
~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.
~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.
~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.
~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:
• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:
• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.
Some Suggestions:
~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.
~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option
~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends"

Greetings!
"Whoever gives heed to instruction prospers,
and blessed is the person who trusts in the Lord."
Proverbs 16:20
Congrats, tjskip! That is wonderful!
I just received my answer from PAO. My son is going to be with 171 at PIR! Since he had to attend BS21 with another Div and his Div already had their phone calls, he was not time slotted for the phone call. I'm so EXCITED! So happy we did not cancel our reservations! Thank YOU, Admins, for your support and encouragement!
Hi! I have a question.... My son had been moved to FIT Division and passed his PFA on Monday. I read that he would have to do BS21 with another division. We have not received the "I'm A Sailor" call. Should we still plan on being at Graduation tomorrow?
CONGRATULATIONS to all the new Sailors and their families!! Safe travels to all to an awesome PIR!!
Remember, PIR is just the beginning of the Navy journey. Keep plugged into Navy for Moms where there are groups for A school, C school, ratings (jobs), bases, ships, states, regional, twins and multiples, and the "Christian Navy Moms" that I am a part of!
Also, the U.S. Navy Recruit Training Command page on Facebook puts up photos from each PIR. If you see your Sailor in a pic or more, you can download it to your own computer by either clicking on the picture, going down to Options and downloading it OR right click, "Save Picture As" to a file on your computer~~
Now ladies, I can't wait to meet all of you Manana!!!!
And of course, see my baby!!!!!!
Congratulations to ALL the Mommies receiving the CALL!!!
Hi All~~
