for
~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.
~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.
~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.
~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:
• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:
• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.
Some Suggestions:
~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.
~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option
~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends"

Seaford Mom: Not a mom but a gf going by herself! Hope to see you at the meet and greet(:
Hi all! My boy called home yesterday! He needed info--a couple of addresses--so he got to call. He sounded great, said the food is delicious and that he misses his dog. :) He said they hadn't started any PT yet, though, that yesterday was going to be their first day. Ship 03, Div 176...anyone else out there with an SR in that same division?
I made reservations at the Navy Lodge....and for Sarge's Meet and Greet. I'm a single mom and my other kiddos can't come unfortunately. But I'm completely up for this adventure! Any other single moms out there? Or moms who will be traveling by themselves? Can't wait to meet everyone!
I was gonna bring shoes just incase, haha. I guess just jeans and a cute top with light jacket
I am planning on wearing flats! Who knows how much walking we will have to do. I plan on being comfortable as I can be....lol
Wondering what y'all are wearing? It's may so it;ll be about 60-70. Was thinking skinnies, with some pumps, nice shirt and a cardigan? But then I heard we have bleachers so I may re-think the heels.. idk
Daisyduke,
Lifting up your son as he makes his way home to you. May our Lord quickly and clearly show him what His next plan is~~ ((HUGS)) to you~~
Greetings!
"Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh.
Is there anything too ard for Me?"
Jeremiah 32:27
AMEN to your last line, Dawn! So many times, we are kicking and screaming when our plans are changed.....only to discover what the Lord really had in store for us. My way of life is that we try to open the doors, He will close those he doesn't want for us and allow the right one(s) to be opened. But sometimes the process is long and patience has to be foremost! Prayers, Daisyduke....for both of you!
I am so sorry. Lifting you up in prayer and may God begin to confirm in a real way to you both His ways and hand in this. His ways are not ours but always better!
