OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

No problem.  Last names are forbidden:  First names aren't.  But we don't recommend them being used her for identity purposes.  Thanks!

Battlestrations tonight for 167 and 168.  I have butterflies  :)  This morning I am on my way to buy a blue candle  :)  Will start burning it at 8 central time :)

@ Soh@ppy - Please do go to the meet and greet!  I am sorry that you feel isolated, but you're not!!  You are as much a member of this group as any other person.  Please go!!  I am hoping that I can make it.  Our flight arrives at 6pm, and by the time we get the rental car, and drive in, we may not get there until a little before 8pm.... But, I will go, even if it's just for 15 minutes!  Please everyone, don't leave early :)

Thanks to all that have provided such wonderful advise, support and humor!!
